About the Artist
M.B. Solid unloads his, Solid Impact!, album after a long period of time in the making and trimming off the fat to dish-up 12 lean solid tracks.
M.B. Solid has been paying his dues since his underground releases, "Solid Steppin' Stone," album and, "2 Feet Deep," 12 inch EP in the early 90's. Paid off debts, old associates faded, and he got greasy in some garage band stints, and finally had the calling to start recording studio tracks again producing tunes for X-Child, but that original project bit the dust, and X-Child just had too much drama going on in his life. By the time year 2001 rolled around the vision for the "Solid Impact!" album was clear - with the elements of funk, hip-hop, r&b, and an extra element to lift it beyond the norm. The album officially is released in 2002.
"Solid Impact," was produced, written, arranged, and performed by M.B. Solid. M.B. is slinging it on his six-string to holding down the mic on the lead and background vocals, and all the funky things in between. X-Child steps into the ride on "Ride With Me" ready to roll.

The beats may have you bouncing and bobbing your head, yet at the same time giving you a dose of social, economic, to atomic topics and issues - on tracks such as, "Creep Wit' It," "Handle It," and "Peace Out." While on tunes "Mack Bone," and, "I Got Bank!," have a humorous vibe to the serious side of macking and staying sucker-free of gold diggers and those who are just hanging around when you're riding high.
