i found this in a 2 for $15.99 bin at the local muzick store. thought that i'd buy it and give it someone as a gift, got bored and started listening to it...wow...was i ever pleased! straight up head bobbin' joints. get it.

i havent heard the rest of this, but mr. lif's- 'ol crew is beyond amazing. this song alone is worth the price of this album.

... on account of your average lp's hit or miss quality. this falls into the 'better than most' comp category, on account of bombs from the legendary Biz Markie (featuring more than nice production from Paul Nice), the ever intelligent J-Live and the comfortable pairing of Pete Rock and Groove Attack's own Grand Agent. There are better comps, but as a good overview of where underground hip-hop is at right now this is maybe the best place to start.
