Not that great for NYHC!!!.......2006-10-13

This may be a good cd for someone maybe that does'e know too much bout NYHC. The album has a couple good tunes, but other than that I can't really take this album seriously. The singer juss doesn't sound tight at all and tries too hard to be a wannabe at times. I really love NYHC, actually I live it. It's my life, culture, appearance, etc. juss my way of life, but this album didn't work at all for me. If you want serious in your face NYHC than pick up anything from Agnostic Front, Madball, Sick Of It All, Cro-Mags , Murphey's Law, H20, but this Skarhead seems to me like a one time deal that just mocks NYHC in general. This Skarhead album is juss not tight for me.

Skarhead is a great band, but forget the DMS crew and their BS.

Provide the pit and this CD will provide a severely angry mosh all over your head. This the kind of stuff you mosh-steady to. Nothing fast. Which can get boring. I suggest DMS before this.

As long as you won't take it too seriouly, these 15 songs will give you some positive thoughts. The music seems to appear typical and usual 'NYHC style' but, at last, it rocks ! So give them a second chance...

An excellent cd from beginning to end. Has members from various bands such as Crown of Thornz and Subzero. Also has some hip hop influence in it. This is has both aggresive songs with brutal breakdowns such as the title track "Kings At Crime" and also has some slower songs "BQE". THe only thing about this cd I didnt like was that Lou from Subzero only did vocals on a few songs. Many guest vocalist including Freddy from Madball and Roger Miret of Agnostic Front. A must have for any hardcore fan.
