Chopped & Screwed.......2006-03-26
I haven't heard the orginal release but I picked up the Chopped & Screwed version today. I'm not much of a Chopped & Screwed fan but it was impressive, which brought me here to purchase the orginal release. A common problem with the Screwed/Chopped is that you can't hear enough of the artists voice/inflections to appreciate the work.
Anyway, her lyrics sound a little more mature and earned.
Garbage.......2005-01-05
Gangsta Boo is one of my favorite female rappers (checc reviews of her other albums) but this album is not hitting. The production on the album is terrible and her signature flow is almost nonexistent. Even her lyrics are wack on this album. One of the freestyles she did was horrendous and I'm wondering how it made the album. Then I started wondering how much time was actually put into the final product. The first three songs are the only good songs: Sippin & Spinnin, Zoned Out, and Scared, The rest are throwaway tracks. Hopefully this is only a bump in the road for Lady Gangsta Boo, cause she has the potential to release great albums. Not recommended. 1.5 stars
Gangsta Boo's hottest release ever!!!.......2004-11-27
She really proves everything that she talks about. probebly one of the realest females in the rap industry. This cd has so many hot tracks, and only two duds. The beats on this cd are better than they have ever been and there are some really good rappers featured on this album, 8-ball, Playa fly, Bun-B, etc. There is also a screwed and chopped version available out there if you can find it and that version is very good if you like that kind of music.
Boo's Back!.......2004-08-28
You have to show love to the lady. She left her previoous represtatives that she'd grown up with and started her own label with a sick cartel. Her artists (featured on this CD) are smart in sticking with Boo. She's living proof that women can kick in the door and stay in the game for longevity. This album is tight. It's a must-have for all Gangsta Boo fans.

A trip through Southern Style, Let the Party begin.......2000-08-18
DJ Truk has put together a tight mix of Southern Sound. It mixes some of the better known dance beats (Why you treat me so bad, No Scrubs, etc) with both established Southern Playas (Outkast, Mystikal) and soem only known acrossed the Dirty South. You can put this on and cruise, no need to fast forward. A constant beat pervades the CD. Put it on, and let the party begin.

I really can't understand why people sleep on ANYTHING short dog puts out. He is able to keep the same style and image, but reinvent the game every album. He's only on like 3 songs on this album but you can just tell he was a part of all the songs. The beats are rediculous, and the rhyming should surprise anyone who listens to it. Listen to this cd one time through--no fast forwarding, and you will be very pleased. short dog for president

first of all it is better than nationwide..nationwide had fools like red man, casual and other non-shortrecord representatives. Nationriders is the beginning of mix tapes that put Shorts homies on the scene. get this if you want to hear some real, nationriding, Oakland originating, southern bumping rap..
