Scar face at his best.......2007-07-24

The album starts with a deep rumble ( Get your self a couple of 12s and a decent amp } then tempos up to a baby crying (Him) and just rocks!!! from there on. Between Scarface, Erick Sermon and Korupt they rock this album. If you don,t mind the harsh language and the gratuitous mentions of "Thug Life" I believe you will not only enjoy this record ;but, cherish it. After "The Conspiracy Theory" the album drops off in lieu of filler music. Although, by the time it gets to track No.9..... it wont matter. Like Mr. Scarface says " Lets take it to the ring Ole Ho Ass Ni%#@ ! Come On !!!! Buy this ....it is well worth it!!

Scarface's magnum opus.......2006-10-02

Standout tracks: LAST OF A DYING BREED, LOOK ME IN MY EYES, THEY DOWN WITH US(crazy collabo), SORRY FOR WHAT, THE GANGSTA S--T, CONSPIRACY THEORY, WATCH YA STEP, GET OUT, IN&OUT, AND YO(everybody killed it including Young Noble)and IN MY TIME. Filler: OG to me sounds like a weak cipher where Scarface is the only one who busts a decent verse. Bottom Line: Scarface came back with an album that made The Untouchable a distant memory(and The Untouchable was a classic). Scarface bought his A game to the table on this album plus the production was superb. Unfortunately he hasnt topped this album yet. Listen to The Fix and My Word and My Balls if you think im kidding.

This is how it goes: #1 = Diary. #2 = This one. Last of a Dying Breed folks. Everyone else will tell you that Mr. Scarface is Back or The World is Yours is #2, but they're wrong. #3 = The Fix. #4 = Mr. Scarface is Back. Take this from the realest, in this order. FaCE is the man. Follow this sequence and you will not be disappointed. Damn I love thise CD, if only for the two tracks 7 and 8, the first featuring Daz and Kurupt, and #8 is just the hardest Scarface song ever.

Another solid album from a Rap Legend - 4.5 stars.......2004-12-23

Back again for the legend 2 and a half years after his worst "solo" effort, "My Homies" he brings you his 6th solo album. This is not his best album but still very strong & better than 85% of the rap albums out today. It's probably my 3rd or 4th favorite of hi sfirst 8 solo albums. When Face drops an album there is always one certainty, it'll be a very good album or a classic, this one is very good. His lyrics are as usual Great and deep. The production is good as with all his albums, done by Mr. Lee, Face himself, Mike Dean & N.O. Joe. It has no songs I skip, 2 that are ok, 2 classics, and 9 good or great songs. Has a little more guests then he usually does but they do a good job. A must have rap album.

Scarface is back!.......2000-11-04

I thought the album was o.k., but I was definitely expecting more. His last album, (The Diary) seemed so much more insightful and mature. This release, comes off as downright MORBID. In addition, if you are not a big 80's old skool rap fan, you may not enjoy it, because several of the songs REEK of it! In my opinion, the album was mediocre, compared to his other work.

This cd is wicked if you like the older AC/DC,Rose Tattoo,Motorhead&The Godz then you gotta have this cd. They do a killer version of Twisted Sisters Under The Blade,even Dee Snider has to be proud of this version,They even do a medely of 2 songs by AngelCity&Alice Cooper. What a combo.And the orginals well if you crank it up too 10 & your stero don`t blow up then you got a good system,,Definetly a cd to play at high volumes.Nice to see there`s still bands like this out there banging away!

The name says it all. Rocks premier "power trio", kickin' @ss and takin' no prisoners; and 100% American!! If you love Mountain, Grand Funk, ZZ Top etc...you'll dig this in a major way. This is "rock" the way it was meant to be played. If you don't like it...get on a boat and go back where you came from!!

Straight up Rock-N-Roll.......2001-01-18

One of the best CDs of the year. If you like straight up rock-n-roll with no ballads, you will love American Dog. Pounding drums, solid guitar, and hard hitting bass get your head banging and your toes tapping.

In particular "Last of a Dying Breed", and "Dogs Life". Lead vocals are Alice Cooper meets Motorhead. The music is ACDC with a slight southern rock feel.
