About the Artist
The various members of the rap group, S.A.B. (STRICTLY ABOUT BUSINESS), became involved in writing rap songs at comparbly young ages. At the age of 13, Shannon "Triple-X" Golphin, wrote a rap song for his younger brother, Dyese "gator" Golphin, to perform in a school play. A couple of years later, Kinte Gross penned a remake of 'Too Short's' "The Ghetto", renamed "The Desert", for the Desert Storm Troops. Meanwhile, across town, John "JB" McKenzie III was developing his skills as a rapper by spittin' raps of his older cousin, "King Rasheem". While the Golphin brothers were 'South Augusta Ballin', Gross and Mckenzie, along with Hamani "Prheek Tha Don Dunn, were then the "Southern Assains". In 1997, while working on the same job, the Golphins and McKenzie, along with Gross and Dunn, became "Strictly About Business". This group transcends traditional rap by letting their 'true' characters and personalities determine their lyrics, and not visa-versa. The plan is simple, diabolical, and economically feasible, to take over the rap game. Just watch and see."STRICTLY ABOUT BUSINESS"!!! ALWAY'S BUSINESS, NEVER PERSONAL.
Product Description
this album is very versitile, a little something for everyone. beats are hot and lyrics are even hotter. we're letting you know where we're coming from and where we're trying to go. letting you know what we're about, from the streets to the clubs, and letting you know that it's alway's business never personal. we're showing you how to become Strictly About Business, because everyone knows, if you're not about Business then you must be about Bullshit!
