to shelly durate.......2005-12-02
to shelly the west coats rappers write their own music they dont need to sample like p.ditty or biggie havoc and prodeje been around for over 16 years and they have far more talent than mobb deep so lets keep it real on whos fake and whos not the only clowns are mobb deep WEST COAST RULES newyork Drules!!!!
To Shelly Duarte.......2005-11-07
To Shelly Duarte: It's evident that you don't know much about hip hop. These guys have been around since the 80's in Cali from a group called South Central Cartel. They had the name Havoc and Prodeje way before Mobb Deep. In fact, they're older than Mobb Deep and been in the rap game longer. I'm not saying they're better...to each his own. But don't post comments without knowing the true facts!
Don't be fooled by the names..........2005-10-04
...Or the other reviews. Those reviews probably came from someone in their camp. When I first saw these two, I said "no they did not!" If you go to a music store it n the rap section and look through it, you will find knock-offs of known and real rappers. These guys have their names for the simple reason of trying to confuse a would be buyer of Mobb Deep.
These two clowns are nothing more than sucker MC's trying to get a dollar off of someone else's hard earned names. If you are new to hip-hop or just young, there IS a reason rappers used to talk about something called a sucker MC(a fake rapper, someone without skills, someone you hear and you know they should not be rapping) and these clowns are it!
early S.C.C. material, but good.......2005-01-12
Havoc & Prodeje of South Central Cartel (SCC) not east coast rap group by the same names, Mobb Deep, deliver a strong performance and one of their earliest ones as well. With Prodeje behind the boards on 11 of the 14 tracks, the production is good. Their lyrics aren't the most sophisticated but they get the point across rather well, they're gangstaz and that's it. Not their best album but not their worst either, it's a solid 4 star performance, with no classic song, 1 that I skip, 3 that are ok, and the other 10 are good songs (after track 11 the album slips a little). As With all their albums, guests are limited (as always to LV and a few with the rest of the SCC) and it's a good album to have for the SCC fans.
