If you have young children, go out and buy this CD. It's kid friendly and has very creative lyrics. Parents will love this as much as their kids do. Eric Ode is an excellent entertainer at kids shows too. They just love him!

Excellent, fun!.......2005-07-26

I have attended a couple of Eric Ode's concerts, and can tell you personally how well he capture's children's attention and imagination. My little 6.5 month old son sat, completely catpivated and often bouncing to the the music. Ode's recordings are just as rewarding, interactive and fun.

This record is arguably the best to ever come out of the Chicago underground. Intelligent, soulful, almost perfect. Also has a great appearance by Capital D of All Natural.

this album is a must have if you have ever loved underground hip hop. iomos shows what emcee'n is all about. this album is heart felt. check out "i confess", "tight", "another late night" and "deep rooted". conscious, creative, and honest.....this project is what hip hop is about!!! if you ever get to check him live, you will only be even more convinced.........

Good lyrical performance, Iomos Marad shows you what it is like in the "hood" and how bad cops treat the people of color. Its a very mentally balanced album. I would recommend this CD to anyone who loves the truth in the form of Hip-Hop.

Take me back..........2004-01-02

This CD takes me back to the "golden age" of Hip-Hop. Iomos' style is reminiscent of classic East Coast Hip-Hop from the early '90s. Best of all, he's from Chicago...representin'! I can't listen to anymore of that whack-ass southern b.s. Give me the true Hip-Hop.

Totally delightful in all aspects! Great lyrics that children will memorize easily and sing along with. The mood of this CD is fun, fun, fun and relates well to all children young and old. Up with music and creativity! This CD nourishes and uplifts the child in all of us.

Trash Can by Eric Ode.......2002-02-11

Surprise, surprise! A kids album that my six year old wants to hear over and over, and that does not drive me crazy. There is a variety of music with good themes, which as a protective parent I appreciate. The last song, Blackberry Jam will get the whole house moving, even my super cool 15 year old.

Inland Waterways, by Miki Lynn, is an excellent return to the simple style of the singer/songwriter genre. It blends new arrangements of folk and bluegrass standards such as Rosewood Casket and Shenandoah with finely crafted original tunes like Cattail Creek and Time of my life to lead the listener on a musical journey.
