THIS CD IS VERY UNDER-RATED !!!!

...UNTIL RECENTLY I NEVER KNEW THE STUFF THAT NEW ORLEANS / LOUISIANA WAS PUTTIN' OUT IN THE MID-90'S...LOKEE, UNDERTAKER, SILKY SLIM, BOTTOM POSSE, G-SLIMM, ETC...AND NOW I DISCOVERED S.B. & JOEY....ALL OF THESE ARTISTS HAVE THAT DARK, GANGSTA FEEL TO IT (A LIL' BAY AREA, W/ SOME HOUSTON STYLE THROWN IN)...ESPECIALLY THE BEATS....OOOOHHH, SOME SICK A$$ BEATS !!!....

ARTISTS TODAY HAVE KNOW IDEA HOW TO THROW DOWN BEATS LIKE THESE...ENOUGH WITH THAT BOOTY-DANCE SH*T !!!! GET THAT SH*T OFF THE RADIO...SOME FOLKS THINK THAT SONGS IN "HUSTLE N' FLOW", WERE A " NEW " SOUND TO RAP, OR SOMETHING....BREAK OUT OF THE BOX, AND LEARN ABOUT DIFFERENT STYLES GOING ON IN DIFFERENT AREAS...NOT JUST WHAT KANYE, OR THE GAME ARE DOING NEXT !!!!

" CREEPIN' THROUGH THE FOG " (TRACK 10 ) WAS AN IMMEDIATE FAVORITE !!!...ONCE THAT SAMPLE GETS LOOPED, AND THAT SICK BEAT KICKS IN, YOU'RE HOOKED....NEXT TIME YOU PUT THE CD IN, YOU GO STRAIGHT TO THAT TRACK, AND THE OTHER TRACKS HAVE TO WAIT !!!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS ONLY 25-30 BUCKS ON HERE, AS COMPARED TO SOME OF THE OTHER STUFF OUT THERE, THAT GOES FOR TRIPLE THAT PRICE...THIS CD IS A WORTHY PURCHASE, IF YOU LIKE ANY OF THOSE ARTISTS I MENTIONED........

this was a hot album,espesailly when you listen to new orleans style of music.i thought they did nothing but bounce music down there.but they can put this same 1996 disc out today,and with the right promotion this project would be in the top ten on the billboards. so for the people thats looking for that complete new sound,check out this c.d..
