Customer Reviews:
One of Sick Wid It's best albums.......2003-01-01
As usual, Sick Wid It Recirds released a GREAT album. "Mash Confusion" is probably the hardest album they've ever had. A-1 is gangsta to tha fullest. The beats on the album are awesome - especially the ones by Sam Bostic, Bosco, Ton Capone and of course Studio Ton... And both of the rappers spit viciously on the mic: D-Day is great, but the one who shines is Big Bone. And he's AWESOME, his voice and delivery are so powerful!... He should go solo and really blow up. Check out his solo track on the album (#14) and see for yourself. One of the best rappers I've heard from Vallejo, and he steals the show on every song he's on, for real... A lot of great guest rappers on the album - E-40, B-Legit, Killa Tay, Little Bruce, Mr. Malik and more. I think this album was really slept on, but it really is one of the best to come out in 1999.
Tight CD.......2002-07-10
This CD is tight from start to finish just get it. The beats are gangsta and the raps are tight. This ain't no hip-hop or pop BS it is west coast gangsta rap at its finest!
why isnt a-1 in the source book?.......2000-07-07
A-1 is right about the Source Magazine in regards to the song critic killaz. The magazine by far is real shady towards the westcoast and I think the magazine should go nationwide if you know what I mean. Hell everytime I look in the source book I always see some huge article about someone who is underground in New York somewhere. What about the westside, the damn magazine is real shady towards rappers like Jayo Felony, Mack 10, Mc Eiht, and the one they hate on the most E-40. Fonzerelli should have been on the cover 5 years ago with the lp's "IN A MAJOR WAY" & The Clicks "GAME RELATED". Now a days you cant find a video of a rapper that you like anymore on regular mtv or bet. The westcoast rap hatin' has got to stop. But anyway the album is tight like all the other sick-wid-it albums. The part that I like about the sick-wid-it staff is the bass lines and this album has a-lot of it from the songs Represent to of course Critic Killaz. Keep up the good work.
The Re-view.......2000-02-15
This album, in my opinion, is "off the hook". What I like about these cats the most is that they are different. They're different in their music and style of rap. One of my favorite songs are the hit track "Big Man", I also like "Critic Killas" because of what the song talks about. This isn't the only song that touches on that subject. I, myself have observed what they spoke about. B.E.T. plays more videos of east coast rappers than those of any other region. As A-1 stated, it is one-sided. Artists who have just hit stardom are making magazine covers, and there are some well established rappers with gold and platinum careers that have yet to cover a magazine. This is not to speak against B.E.T. or any one else, but I have long noticed this before it was mentioned. If you are considering the purchase of the album A-1, Mash Confusion, you won't be sorry. Sic Wid It, keep up the good work.
