About the Artist
Born in Compton, and later living in Beaumont Texas, Da PreachaMan (Al Deshion Nezy)was no stranger to gang-related violence and drugs. He saw many of his friends die, or end up serving time behind bars. Through the power of Jesus Christ, he left these things behind. He has been blessed with a beautiful wife and son, and uses rap as a way to share his experiences with young people. Bringing his anti-drug, pro-education message to public schools, and sharing his testimony at youth groups and concerts, he seeks to warn against the kind of lifestyle that he had been involved in. He presents Jesus as the answer to addiction, hatred and violence!

Da PreachaMan uses a mix of fresh beats, ambient synths, sound effect and aggresssive rap to confront issues such as drive-by shootings, suicide, End-times, and drug abuse. A urban version of the Lord's Prayer opens the cd. Psalm 91 finds Da PreachaMan teamed up with the amazing vocalist Debbie C. Radio favorite The Wicked Shall Be Doom is included in the mix. Be sure to look for the 16th hidden track 'Benediction.' 65 minutes of solid jamz in all!!
