    "World Ultimate" was a classic, so how are you going to follow it up? Answer: "Sight of Things." Despite only being an EP it was a solid work and re-established the Nonce as the left coast ATCQ. This EP featured a revamped version of "Who Falls Apart," which was an amazing b-side to "Bus Stops."

    The beats are dope, very laid back and chill, like a Cali breeze. The lyrics... the lyrics were never a strong point for The Nonce, but their ish was always dope nonetheless. This EP makes a great addition next to "World Ultimate" and it's unfortunate that there will be no more "Nonce" due to Yousef's death.

    I honestly haven't heard much of Sach's work, but I assume it has a simular vibe. Without Yousef thoughbut it will never be the same.

    These cats are probably one of the tightest production teams that have graced the hip-hop scene (underground or pop); I have over 15 hands-on years in the hip-hop business. You need to pick up any product you can find on these guys. Production: they are like the Slum Village of the West Coast. Rhymes are similar to De La Soul or Tribe Called Quest. Yusef (RIP) has left us, so there may not be another team like this in your lifetime; pick this up and anything else you can find on these guys!

    These brothers have the most thorough understanding of hip hop of any producer/artists from the west coast. Their first LP was a classic, and this one progresses into even crazier areas. The Nonce are ambient and hop hop all at once. If you are a true hip hop fan, this CD should be in your collection, because 25 years from now, when these kids are hip hop legends, you will be bragging to your friends that you always knew this was a great group.

        There's an innocence about this album, originally recorded in the early 1950s. Arrangements charming, and the voices of June Ericson and Warren Galjour respectively sweet and stalwart.

        Note : The David Daniels who sings on this album is an altogether different person from the Countertenor David Daniels who wasn't born or even thought of in 1955. Amazon listings, heal thyself.

        Best songs: Just Let Me Look at You; Up With the Lark. Kern at his most melodic.

        I got thi CD to hear David Daniels. He is nothing special on this CD (in contrast to later in his career where he is A#1) and I guess it's a nice CD, but did nothing for me.
