Customer Reviews:
Those who don't like this CD don't like hip hop.......2006-09-06
This is one of the best CD's to come out. I love Kilo ever since I first heard America has a problem (under just Kilo then). To the two reviewers who gave this CD a single star rating, go back to the christian rap garbage you probably listen to. This is an outstanding CD with great beats and rhymes. It's got more of a mellow rap feel to it. One where you just pop this in your vehicle and pound the bass while bobbing your head.
Lost Y'all mind is the best track, very positive track and funky too. I miss Kilo Ali, I wish he would release another album, especially since this was his best one, and unfortunately, his last.
Avoid like the plague.......2005-12-09
This album is unoriginal, uninspired, non-creative, and just plain bad. The beats are laughable, as are the lyrics... and not in a good way. This album basically sounds like it came almost a full decade late, and with no real talent in any area to back it up. I was actually surprised to see it was actually released as a serious realease, and not as a kind of throwback to late 80s rap. It has no real reason to exist other than to show people why other bad (but still better) artists are popular. Listening to this will make you appreciate even the crap someone like Ja Rule makes, because although it sucks, it could be this garbage. This may actually be the worst album I have ever heard. I would give it a 0 if I could have.
ATL Classic.......2005-10-10
Dis cd bring back memories. I dun been to parties and heard dis cd play from start to finish, no joke. Kilo in jail or sum'n now and I doubt if he tried his hardest he could ever top this album. Matter of fact, I wouldnt want him to. I would drop $50 on this cd today if mine ever broke so get it while its cheap.
terrible.......2005-05-01
That "Sabrina" reviewer is out of her mind. Yeah, there's a message in this dude's "songs", and "Love in ya mouth" has only one message, and it's filthy garbage. Most Rap is trash, and this particular rapper is one filthy dude. Pass on this if you have any sense of decency, or, for that matter, if you like a melody in your songs.
The Best CD Ever.......2004-02-05
this cd will really blow your mind away, it has some of the best songs ever. my favorites are: Baby baby, Lost Ya'll minds, Save Me, It's Tricky, Show Me Love, and the rest. Trust me kilo is the one of the best to come out of my home town (A-Town). you will not be mad about this cd. kilo is one of the FIRST rappers ever to come out of atlanta. Personaly if i had to rate it 1-10 i would give it a 100 not a 10, it's better. Go get the cd and some other cds of his, like bluntly smeaking or get this party started. the only thing i dont like about kilo is that he has not made a cd since this one, if you know any cd he has appeared on or done since 97 email me back at Monkey333666@yahoo.com
Peace

Customer Reviews:
A solid disc.......2006-03-27
ok... I've heard this album back to front (or rather, front to back) a bunch of times. what can i say? it grows on me each time. the beats are fresh, sound quality is great, melodies soar. only the best cds grow on you each time you hear them, and this is one of those. one thing i like about bexarametric is that he concentrates as much on the harmonic and melodic structures of his music as he does on the more beat oriented parts of his songs. so, for every "BEX IDM" he throws at you, there's a "Toys Go Marching In," where the violins bounce off the cellos and such. My only wish with this album is that Bexarametric had unlimited studio equipment and a huge slew of live musicians around him that could play stuff exactly as he thought it... he pushes himself so hard to get at those sounds in his head that he almost exceeds the limitations of electronic equipment altogether. a masterful album from an artist who is growing by the minute. what else can i say? it's nice to see a snapshot of someone that sounds like this disk does. Not at Amazon at the moment, but you can find it at CDBABY.com.
