About the Artist
Born March 24, 1974 and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, David Clemons, Jr. had dreams of becoming a national recording artist. He started writing at the age of thirteen not knowing that God was going to do great things in his life. At the age of twenty-three David married twice, once to Christ and a second time to his Wife. He knew that by totally surrendering his life to Christ, he had to let go all that was not of righteousness, including his rap lyrics. Realizing this, he began to ask God to give him a rap name that would represent what he stands for not in man but in Christ. God answered by giving him the stage name of “The Loyal Servant.” In the beginning of year 2000, The Loyal Servant began to produce his own music. He has performed for several different local artists and in numerous different talent shows and local events. Now God has blessed him to produce other artists as well. David Clemons, Jr., “The Loyal Servant”, feels that there are many secular artists really misleading the youth with their misrepresentation of life. He wants all young people near and far to experience what he has since living for Christ. In order to reach the younger generation we have to approach them in a way they can relate. The Loyal Servant proves himself worthy of doing this as well as delivering the word of God, his music speaks for itself.
