Slept on Classic.......2005-12-18

This CD is a classic. I bought it back in the late ninties when it came out. These guys were so far ahead of there time that it's chilling. By far the best rappers to come from Alabama and the Carolinas. Southern Rap with reality and purpose. The rap industry at the time was focused on the Northern East Coast, and the West Coast, and the Southern Hip-Hop movement was yet to be recognized with the exception of Outkast and a few others. How the industry slept on this one I don't know. These guys could have very well been the pioneers of the Southern Hip-Hop Movement that would include the Carolina regions all the way to New Orleans. My old one is scratched up so I'm buying a new one. If anyone knows where these guys are let me know, I want to do some music with them. Signing off Templeton AKA "Tha Southern Maestro" (...)
