First Album First Masterpeice.......1999-08-17
The first Esham album ever!!! This is one of the best albums from him with classics like Red Rum and Some Old Wicketsh*t I highly recomend this album for all true acid rap heads
Only 17 and still kickin'.......1999-07-24
This classic blends acid rap with Esham's suicidalist rhymes. The lyrics are origonal and flow smoothly. "Some old Wicket $h!t" and "4 all my suicidalists" are trend setting songs that will never die.
an addition to my last review.......1999-06-18
ok this is jus an addition to tha last review, esham wrote the songs when he was like 14-15! yes thats like when all the other rappers were still in skool, esham was out writin traks, an this cd sold about 100,000 copies in itz first year!
ESHAM's first L.P........1999-04-17
ESHAM's Boomin "words from hell 1990" was not the best, but in 1990 what do you expect?? This cd is a classic to all detroit fans, they all have this somewhere. This cd is EVIL theres no doubt about that. ESHAM threw some dope lyrics together, back then when he was extremely young. This cd is a definite add-on to the esham collection if you dont have it.

In the beginning there was Esham.......2006-02-08
This is the album that started it all by the artist that started it all. ICP, Twiztid, Project Deadman, King Gordy, none of them would exist in their current form today without Esham. He is without a doubt the inovator of wicked hip-hop and one of the single most influential rappers of all time. This album may not be as well known as Dr. Dre's The Chronic, but it had no less an influential impact. Boomin' Words From Hell takes you through the hardened streets of Detroit through a dark perspective never before seen in hip-hop, think Edgar Allan Poe with a ghetto twist. This album is no doubt the best horrorcore album ever, if for nothing else because it was the first one ever. Esham's style and subject matter has been and will be copied over and over again, but nobody does it better than the Black Devil himself.
The Unholy Poetry's For All the Suicidalists!.......2005-12-22
It's amazing how one MC can stay in the game for so long but at the same time be so unknown to many Hip Hop fans. Well, Esham has done that. The Unholy Godfather of Acid Rap has been doing this for some 15 years now, and this album, Boomin Words From Hell, is one of his very own classics. The album was originally released in 1990 I think (I may be wrong, this is a re-issue) when he was around 15 years of age. To record such an album at 15 is definitely a major accomplishment, whether the masses feel it or not. Since this album, Esham has recorded many more, not including his albums with Natas. Esham is surely a legend in the Acid Rap scene, especially since he basically created it.
The whole album is good almost from start to finish. Some of my favorites are "My 9 Rhymes" where Esham talks about how he got worse and worse as he grew into adolescence, "The Devil's Groove", which has an exceptional beat and a nice flow and lyrics, and "4 All The Suicidalist's", which has him stating that he raps for the suicidalists, no matter how many titles he kicks. Tracks like "Dream Girl" showcase his storytelling abilities to perfection. "Knockin Em Dead" has some really good samples on the beat, and the whole track flows really well. Other great tracks are "Wish U Was Down", "Word After Word", "Some Old Wicked Sh*t", "Cross My Heart", and Amen Another Sin". Almost the whole album is great. The only two songs I don't really care for are "True", which is your average song dedicated to reefer, "Kissing Bandit", which I hate for my own reasons, and "P***y Ain't Got No Face", which again I don't care for for my own reasons. But 13 good tracks out of 16 is still a damn good job compared to albums dropped recently which have like 3 good tracks outta 18. So this album is still almost perfect.
This is great for you if you don't like the bubblegum pop rap on the radio. Esham should be the famous one among all these idiots. Esham's still boomin with his latest release which dropped just last April. You should pick up every Esham album you find though, because they seem really rare these days and they are well worth the $20 or the $15 that you may pay for them. Esham the Boogie Man is one of the realest rappers left. Pick this up when you see this. 4.5 stars.
"Crime is money & life is crime, but what would life be without a Reel Life rhyme...?.......2005-07-27
I can't understand how anyone could not recognize how influentual Esham really is, not only to Detroit music, but all hip-hop, even to this day!!! I mean, "Boomin' Words From Hell" was born from the days of Young Boys Incorporated (YBI), Best Friends, The Chambers Family, Masarati Rick, White Boy Rick, etc.! The whole joint was inspired by the Dope Game in Detroit from a 16 yr old perspective growing up in the days of Pony Down! Besides, his brother James Smith was already well known in the streets when "Boomin'" dropped making this album truly authentic! Esham even went as far as recording & dropping the 1st double-cd ever in Rap/Hip-Hop titled "Judgement Day, Vol. 1 & 2." I feel that my dogg should be in the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame simply because to this day, his lyrics & storytelling abilities are 2nd to none! "Boomin' Words From Hell" is a classic that you must have!
How It All Started!!!.......2005-01-13
This is one of the good albums from one of the greatest rappers of all time...Nobody cannot beat this...First off this album is a classic...Second....it was recorded & made somewhere around in 1987-1990 when Esham was 13-15 years old...I never heard so much talent from a young teenager that actually was selling albums...This is one of the very best...I dont know why many people have never heard of him...:/...thats what started to upset me a lil...but anyways...this album is tight...most of the stuff he spits is str8 wicked...Fav. Tracks: RedRum, Devils Groove, Eshams Boomin, Amen Another Sin, Cross My Heart, For All The Suicidalist...Oh and yea...the cd is the re-issue version...the first version is different & its a cassette tape titled "Boomin Words From Hell 1990" which has a different cover...it gotz three different songs that is worth listenin to & it is not on the cd (Tellin it how it is, Dont Trip, & Whatcha Back)..if you find it...peep it out cuz its rare
The Start Of An Era.......2005-01-04
Esham (East.Side.Hoes.And.Money), the most underated rapper eva, a man who Feminem and She-12 have been biting for years and they get the credit and fame, but f*ck them, Esham would destroy them in a battle rap. Esham recorded this on a low budget, i mean come on he was 15 years old when he did this, this is a re-issue, the very first version had 3 more songs, but i think it is long out of print. Don't expect beats E went on to make years later, these are very simple beats but E makes it great and his lyrics are amazing. Many classic cuts on here including Redrum, Some Old Wicket S*it, Word After Word, Devils In The Soup and many more but Knockin Em Dead has to be my favourite, its just the lyrics, beat and samples he used on it, but everything else is just as good. Esham will never rap as good as he did here, if you stumble on to Esham and don't know who he is and you are looking for something new to listen to check E out, but no Pop Rap fans please because you wouldn't be able handle it.
