Product Description
When Dedication dropped early in 2004, Lil' Wayne and DJ Drama
brought the mixtape hustle back to New Orleans. One classic spurred
another and then another, and soon Weezy F Baby was not only a hip-
hop household name, but also a mixtape one, too. Back with another
Gangsta Grillz classic, the New Orleans Cash Money prezzy drops this
majorly exclusive mixtape of completely new and unreleased material.

Str8 Wreckin.......2007-01-30
I think this is probably the hottest mixtape in the game 2day. Honestly, if u aint down with Weezy U need to get ur ears checked. I was nevr really much of a fan til I heard this album, n I was the top lil wayne fan by track 8. This man is the best rapper alive...bar none.
You should already know............2006-11-04
Why read the reviews? You already know this is FIRE!!!! Weezy... takes the cake and eats it right in ya face, GREAT MIXTAPE!
Weezy Baby (The President).......2006-07-20
Most people talk down on young toon becuz they don't think that he's the best rapper alive and that's becuz they don't listen to em like they spose to. Go all the way back to the big tymers album how you love that all the way up to NOW and tell me who holding it down. I don't even have to say no more. THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE!
Lil Wayne always come wit the heat.......2006-07-11
WOW, just fire all the way thru, so underated and is THA KING
off the radar!!.......2006-07-03
I have always be a number 1 weezy fan. he is the best right now. thats is undisputable.
listen to the remix of biggies track on his recent duets album... can u compare biggie's version to weezy's? no ! why? cuz he was ready in 81 but born in 82'
he murdered the track.
number 15 is short but crazy.
3 is fire and 4 tells you how unpredictable his style is.
the lyrics are crazy..
the best rapper alive. period.

Gotta love it.......2007-07-06
I never heard of these guys untill a year and half ago. I saw them open for Nonpoint and from the first note untill the last song I was hooked. I have about wore my CD out. They Cd is great but seeing them live is even better. Helluva nice bunch of guys!
Good, Solid Hard Rock.......2006-11-21
The Up Side: Revelation Theory sort of flew under my radar earlier this year when they released Selfish and Cold, so I'm a bit new to these guys, but if Truth Is Currency is any indication of what greatness this band will become, they've got a fan for life in me. Currency is refreshing hard rock in the vein of Staind and early Breaking Benjamin, a style that seems to have dropped off quite a bit in recent years. From Out Of Our Hands to Over The Line, RT packs 10 gems back to back for a pleasing 30+ minutes.
The Down Side: Currency is pretty short. A couple more songs would have rounded things out nicely. Also, one of my favorite RT songs, Far From Home, isn't on here!!
The Conclusion: Fans of Seether, Staind, Breaking Benjamin and Allele should find alot to enjoy on Truth Is Currency. Even casual rock/nu-metal fans can enjoy the singles, so what are you waiting for? GET IT!!!
Good on record, Greater live........2006-10-24
Saw this band on tour with Evanescence in Chicago. Props to the band for a hard show... honestly the live version is better than this recording, but a great record nonetheless. The band was also very dynamic, interacting with the crowd and were out front signing the CD's after the show... they are very fan oriented.
I'd give the CD a 4.5, but the live performance was a perfect 5 so I'll bump them up for the live show kudos. Going to be a hit when they go national headline.
No Revelations, Just A Solid Rock Album........2006-08-30
Take your first listen to Revelation Theory's debut, "Truth Is Currency" and you can conjure up countless bands to compare these guys to. If David Draiman of Disturbed mated with Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy and fronted a band influenced by nothing but Staind and Seether, you would have Revelation Theory. It's true, this band is not covering any new bases. However, fans of the genre will find an album that is easy to pick up and listen to. Despite not being a very long effort at that, it is to the point and most importantly, just rocks.
There are ten songs on "Truth Is Currency." Eight of them are hard-rocking ear candy. Two of them are modern-rock ballads -- "Selfish And Cold" and "Over The Line." Since these are the two songs that step outside the boundaries, they are by defualt the best of the album. But on the whole, it's a solid listen. I wish I had more to say about it, but do the math. Ten songs plus a familair sound equals not much to say.
Disturbed Jr?.......2006-08-06
For some reason, as i listened to this album, I kept picutring David Drainman from Disturbed's less evil twin as the vocalist for this band. I also expected the singer to break out into the chorus of "Stupify" at any moment as well. Oh well. This band is pretty much like any other hard rock band out at the moment. The usual quite verse followed by a heavy chorus. Nothing new or to write home about.

Ahead of its time.......2003-08-05
Hanrahan has made several great albums...chiefly this one, Days and Nights of Blue Luck Inverted, Desire Develops an Edge, and Cab Calloway (under the group rubric "Conjure," it is now sadly out of print).
Forget all the latin-fusion NY "downtown scene" albums of the 90's (Laswell, etc.)...this beats them all in spades. Brilliant work, plus you get Jack Bruce on vocals!
soulful, charming afro-latin magic.......2003-04-28
Extremely creative, mellow, listenable afro-latin off-base/poetic jazz - start playing this cd and you will feel an atmosphere that can't be matched by the recently popular afro-cuban craze. Very similar to, and a great follow-up to, 1984's Desire Develops an Edge. The musicianship and recording/production quality are great. Stands up to repeated listenings. I have replaced very little of my vinyl collection with cds, but this album was worth buying, both times around.
Days and Nights of Blue Luck Inverted is better.......2001-09-23
Same gameplan as "Days and Nights of Blue Luck Inverted": latin jazz, fine musicians (Jack Bruce, David Murray, Steve Swallow et al.), sexual politics, just not as well executed. Personally, I think that you would be better off with the other disk, though this is a matter of preference, and some may disagree.
A classic on every level.......2000-12-25
For many, this stands as Hanrahan's finest effort. The uncanny blending of classic Afro-Cuban rhythms and melodies with smart, inverted politics (global and sexual) was groundbreaking enough. When placed in the hands of world-class players like Milton Cardona, David Murray, Arto Lindsay and Jack Bruce (yes, THAT Jack Bruce, singing with an unbelievable feel and richness), this music achieves transcendence. Sonically fantastic, particularly for the crispness and depth of the percussion sound. This is a beautiful, timeless recording that will not disappoint you.
Repeated listening reveals the intricacies.......2000-05-26
I wrongfully dismissed this as sappy culturally-incorporated lounge music. While this would fit right in at a laid-back club, with occasional singing that is not particularly inspiring, it turns out enough musical variety to demand a reassessment at least. Melodies are interesting and even challenging, and there are enough different sounds to keep one guessing through its entirety. I conclude that jazz needs more bongo drums, and I would appreciate it if they would drown out the unnecessary lyrics.

great cd.......2004-07-14
our currency is time is probley one of the best cd's I have ever bought, Im so happy that I decided to get it.
probably the most unique sound that ever hit chain reaction.......2004-07-09
...when you see The Color Turning for the first time Live, several things come rushing into your mind: ooh! i like their music... ohmygoodness, they're so hot! =p and wow! they can really RoCK. i am so impressed by these guys and i wish them all the best in everything. course, i've never met them, but after one show, i felt touched. hehe they're pretty to look at and beautiful to listen to. you know what i mean? mahal kita.
my first time was back in June...when I saw them perform at a small venue called Chain Reaction in Anaheim. Like i said, these guys are beautiful. Not only is their sound unique, but so is their look. Steve Scavo the lead is just...wow! to look at haha. When he sings, he practically kisses the mic in a way that is so sexy it seems to be felt by every one person in the audience. He has beautiful eyes too. I'm not sure, but they looked hazel to me. Very light, but bright. And then, the way his jet black hair kept falling into his face? oh my! haha. I could of drowned...but most of all, there's his voice, sweet-sounding...soft, mellow like a lullaby, but also ranging to a loud that reminds you of a Romeo-like distress...a Romeo cry.
...and then there's David. ..i think he's the one who rocked his electric guitar (or whichever instrument it was--pardon the ignorance) like a violin. He, too, is really very handsome hehe. To me looked Thai or Cambodian or something. or he may very well be a very tan Chinese or Vietnamese man. haha. He kinda reminds me of Bruce Lee's son Brandon Lee who was also very gorgeous to look at. I only bring it up because the talent of this band is as unique as this band, The Color Turning, is diverse. An amazing group. And I've heard all the songs on this album. All wonderful..
On an even more personal note, I fell in love with them right on the spot. They seem like really nice guys too--very casual, laidback, just like any other men...their wardrobe suggests a claim to simplicity. It's kinda funny because when me and my friends saw them outside before the show started (at Chain back in June), I was cracking up with my friend about how David could be her long lost twin because they looked alike, and that the jet black haired guy (who turned out to be Steve) could be their long lost adopted twin..making them triplets lol... it was pretty funny. but still, I felt bad because i got the feeling the david man kinda picked up on the basis of our laughter but it was really just "hey he looks like u! how cute!" kind of laughter, you know? though. im not sure how that came across. We were so moted when they came out on stage to perform later because earlier we had thought they were just roadies like us who carried the band's equipment!! man, did we get red in the face!!! lol. Anyhow, I love all their songs...and I've heard at least half of 'em live...sooo..anyone who's curiosity is sparked, should really check them out. See for yourself, ya know? hehe The Color Turning. Watch, listen and be amazed.
Unique.......2003-08-20
Listen to this one when you're alone first. It mesmerizes one minute and takes a chunk out of you the next. Vocals are tender and passionate. Innovative and unafraid musicianship. "Words and Everything After" lyrics are full of imagery, a story that takes minutes to listen to but hours to linger over. And a great group of guys too! Check out the website [website]
breath of fresh air.......2002-10-01
I have not heard this original of a band in a long time, especially not from America.
I recommend this music to everyone, who likes modern progessive rock.
I can not wait for the full lenght!!
