4 out of 5 stars A good alternative...........2000-01-24

This album is a good alternative to listening to your Van Halen albums over and over. Most of the covers are totally different to the originals, and done with respect to the band, rather than ridicule....With the exception of Panama, the music for which is awesome, but when the guy sings (if you can call it that) things go down hill. So four stars is the score, and if Captain Rock could sing, it would be five....

4 out of 5 stars Best Tribute So Far !.......2000-01-22

Imagine Van Halen songs performed in Country, Grunge, Motown, Lounge, Reggae, Speed Metal, Banjo, Organ, and other genres. Highly recommended!

4 out of 5 stars Ultimate&Impressive Proof That Creation Begins by Imitating!.......1998-08-05

If you like Van Halen, have a sense of humor and a sense of wonder, this CD will make you say "Wow."

For starters, a minister/organist plays "Eruption" on a church pipe organ note-for-note. It just gets more interesting and twisted from there.

This CD is part tribute, part parody. It doesn't dissapoint.

5 out of 5 stars representing South Florida flawlessly.......2004-07-17

I was young when this album came out and I remember it quite lucidly. I was living in South Florida then and now in retrospect Everybody Wants Some certainly captures an attitude, style, eccentricity (along with killer bass beats) that conveys the essence of South Florida in 1989. "Everybody wants some" is awesome. So is "Five dollar high". "Sally".This album is simply great.

1 out of 5 stars I couldn't stop laughing.......2002-10-18

This duo sounds like they seriously think their music is worth paying money to listen to, and it is, only not for the reasons they think it is. ... With lyrics that don't have any relevance towards anything except the title of the song (if that), and with lyrics that don't even rhyme half of the time, this album is outright embarrassing! So much so that it is really really really FUNNY! I couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire duration of this album. It's worth 1 star just for the fact that it will make me laugh for the rest of my life
