Of course!.......2000-01-24
It would be difficult for Living Legends crew to put out a wack CD. They have too many of the dopest MCs and best beats. However, Stop and Retaliate seems to be a somewhat different concept from most Legends' albums. The focus of this album is revenge and retaliation, and conveys mostly anger, instead of the usual wide variety of emotion and textures. If you really want to hear the true Living Legends (and you do!), check out www.mystik-journeymen.com Recommended albums: The Grouch "F**k the Dumb", Eligh "A Story of 2 Worlds, Melancholy Gypsies "Gypsies Luck", and anything by Scarub.
another REVENGE masterpiece.......1999-12-05
The living legends crew has dropped another s(oul)cially conscious cd. Its a little less pure beauty than the Black Sands... but its still just ill. I think the Mystik Journeymen etc are the best rap group today in terms of translating the emotion they drop at live shows to vinyl. Get this plus every other thing related-please!
