Hello all

I am not too sure how or why i first heard about this artist, i think it may of been an acciedent when i was looking on youtube for some music videos when this artist popped up.

after watching his video for the song "just be thankfull" i thought i'll have to have a look for this guy on ebay or amazon.

5months down the line still nobodys even heard of the artist.. .. ..
plus i could not get any info from the internet on this artist, i did managed to find out that it was produced by a compton rapper named "tweedy bird loc"

I managed to find tweedy bird loc on amazon and get info on him of different web sites so with my info on tweedy bird and found that he had two albums out called " 187 ride bye, no holds barred." both albums where costly but seeing that tweedy bird had good reputation i splashed out and bought his album.

While i was listening to my new tweedy bird loc album i had totaly forgot about Fo clips until i heard him rapping in a song called "walk that walk" straight away i realised him due to his laid back cheeky yet funky compton style.

When i looked on amazon next i realised that Fo clip's album was up for sale, i was so chuffed, i had finialy found this guys album.... but then i saw the price tag...... $120
" Do i spend the money on the album or burn a bootleg off!? "
but no ones heard of him so i couldn't boogleg..... anyway i thought " whats $120, ya cant take it with ya.... "

Luckly enough i managed to get it alittle cheaper ($90) which does seem alot of 1 album but with the price of albums going up i was paying £19 which is about $40 for a tupac album over here so i thought i'd buy fo clips album.

When it arrived i listened to it staraight away, and can say the album was such an easy listening album and after only a few days i had picked a handfull of favorite songs on the album.

After a few more days that handfull of choosen songs became the whole album.

The album is a strange album and if you ever do buy the album you'll see what i mean. Even though fo clips is a compton rapper and we have come to expect extremely hard-core beats from compton but this album is diffrent, with extremely laid back beats with a soothing voice its easy to lose your self in the music, Even though the beats are melo and the flow is soft and laid back fo clips lyrics are very "compton" in the topics he talks about and he seems to address many issues about the compton life style.

One of which i think is the best song on the album is "compton streetlights" this track has a funky old school beat with fo clips lyrics been hard-core. with the chorus having a laid back voice singing the words " bodys falling in the.... compton streetlights.... got to get yours before you get got, feel no pitty... in this hub city... gotta get your money... in the streetlights "

If your looking for a hard-core compton album then this isn't the album for you,

( i would say if you find it cheat to get it but you aint finding this 1 cheaps guys....)

If your your looking for some realy easy listening too but yet the lyrics are strong and meaningfull with plentty of gangsta topics like gangbanging etc been mentioned then this is for you, please dont be put of by the price tag.... (moneys only money, if you have it, spend it!!!)

Sounds like music from the heart. This CD is very easy to listen to. This young man is talented and will succeed in this music business. We are looking forward to listening to other projects he has sang on.
