2 out of 5 stars Not Great, but, Not Bad.......2007-07-04

I love his voice, I love the beats, I don't understand the vocals on this, his long awaited solo album. It was mediocre. I heard him on Wu-Tang ish, and cat had it on lock. I just feel that he can not really hold it down on his own. Worth it for beats alone, but see if you can sub someone else's verses in his place, if you can. I did, and it sounds dope. DEFINITELY do not listen to his compilation Stranglas. STRAIGHT UP GARBAGE.

A better artist is King Just, and my personal favorite is La the Darkman.

3 out of 5 stars THE BEATS ARE THE LET DOWN.......2006-08-07

ive only sampled a few tracks but the beats are weak, if you think u-god is wack and doesnt rhyme you must be insane or just plane dumb, just listen he ryhems alot.

4 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised.......2006-06-04

Like everyone else, I thought this was going to be wack. Boy was I surprised! The beats on this album are what saves it. U-God isn't the best rapper, but he is able to work with the great beats to make an extremely decent album. I've listened to all of the Wu albums and this is in my Wu-Tang top ten. Give it a chance.

4 out of 5 stars wu forever and ever.......2006-04-21

I want y 'all haters 2 stop hatin on da wu and especially on U - God.He's a fine rapper and lyricist. He ain;t weak but u can't get him.He 's not tha wu's best member but he is tight and very underestimated.U-God keep that attitude and continue your effort u got that support.

5 out of 5 stars stop hatin on da WU.......2006-04-19

all y'all stinkin lincoln haters stop hatin on U god he ain't weak yall betta start hatin on a true weak MC like 50 "wackass" CENT. now dat's a weak MC y'all haters is simply dumb deaf and blind to da realities of life unless y'all acknowledge dat da WU will allways be stronger than any other y'all can't live atrue real life knam'sayin.
This album is banging straight up pure headbangers da god gots a style dat be totally wild especially on rumble, pleasure and pain and the night the city cried.

1 out of 5 stars REDEMPTION FAILS.......2003-02-13

DON'T LIE, YOU KNOW THIS LP WAS HORRIBLE. ITS NOT U GOD'S FAULT THOUGH. IT IS THE CLAN AS A WHOLE. THE PRODUCTION IS HORRBLE AND PLAIN. U GOD NEEDS AN LP LIKE "LIQUID SWORDS" OR "CUBAN LINX" MEANING HE NEEDS THE WHOLE CLAN BEHIND HIM NOT JUST HIM ALONE. THIS LP IS THE WORST WU RELEASE EVER.

4 out of 5 stars Wu Tang Does It Again.......2000-01-07

This is another of wutangs finest, once again another member of the swarm comes out with there debut album and makes a few hits out of it, you cant go wrong with this cd, it has cameos from the clan, like mza, gza, rza and so on, this another crunk tight flow by the clan,

Peace
