It's very rare that a rap artist releases a CD in which you don't hit the skip button once. Where rappers have accomplished this feat; Juveninle, Lil Wayne, Lil Wyte, Ludacris, 50 cent Kanye West to name a few. Add Project Pat to this list.Even though I paid $18 dollars for this CD 3 years after it came out, its a testament to how great this CD is. Not a damn boring or wack song on here. If he came out with a 2CD greatest hits, half of the songs would come off of Ghetty Green. True enough, in 1998, a another rapper by the name of Juvenile came out with 400 Degreez. These are the two best solo albums to EVER EVER come out of the south.

While this rappers are both extraordinary, they rap about everyday life in the hood. That's it. But what separates them from Master P, Ludacris? They do it so well, and you believe what their saying. They also "say" it in a unique way. Regardless of what anyone says no one is better at talking about "growin up in tha hood" than juvenile and project pat.

But anyway, Project Pat's Ghetty Green is a must buy. If you are thinkin about startin a 3 6 mafia collection without it you are a dumbass.

4 out of 5 stars Where da Killas at?.......2006-01-09

North Memphis! North Memphis!
The days of our lives theme? Done and done!

Only thing is, this is a straight down south cd. It would be hard for the north to accept it cause Pat's accent is damn thick. I'm from the north, but i hate the rap up here cept Shyne and Killa.

Ghetty Green is a classic album.

How are you gonna say nursery rymes in ebonics Project should hang it up? Like I told Donna and her anti-rap azz stop hatin I dont listen to that Devil worship mess like you so how would it look if I tried to review it this is a grimey come from the hood type album. C'mon man stop hatin and show the south some love. We in the hood we got to do something and getting green in the ghetto is one like Pat said Ghetty Green. Ok the album I like it its in my vehicle now all songs are hits but Gold Shine and these N@gg@s got me f@ck@d up is my 2 favorites and yeah Overlord I;m gonna pray 4 u.
