A great score!.......2003-10-27

"8MM" is a good movie, but the musical score is what really stands out! Mychael Danna is a very talented and quite original composer (not always a given in the film-industry). The score creates exactly the right atmosphere and the mixture of "traditional" film-score and north-african inspiration works surprisingly well. This is powerful stuff! Highly recommended!

Only a Couple Good Songs.......2001-07-21

I was hoping for more bhangra with modern beats, but only a couple songs have this. Although those few are great, the rest is just movie music, and that's no good unless you're vacumming the carpet. This a soundtrack in every sense of the word, and by itself it is not an album.

Eerie, strange, dark, despair, out of of context i think those are best way of describe the music but these things that enhance the films mood and situation

When I saw the movie i was impressed by the music...it was hipnotizing and gave the movie a great atmosphere...this soundtrack captures all that special feeling.
