Kottonmouth: Killa Kottonfields.......1998-10-07

On Kottonmouth's second solo release, "Killa Kottonfields", he comes with a raw gangsta style. This style can be heard on such songs as: City Lights, Down South, Dollars-N-Sense, Ready for War, Mad Mad World, Killa Kottonfields, Who-Ride Pt. 2, Kottonmouth (Remix), and Reel II Real.

On this album I think Kottonmouth has a better sound than on his last album, the underground classic, "100% Kottonmouth".

I gave "Killa Kottonfields" 4 stars for Kottonmouth's raw down south lyrics and for the phat production by Dallas rap veteran DJ Snake.

"Killa Kottonfields" is a definite must for any collector of underground music from the south.

You can also hear Kottonmouth on albums by his, since broken up, group P.K.O. He can also be heard in his underground group South Coast, they released an album entitled "Southern Comfort".
