Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars The worst soundtrack ever made!.......2007-07-11

And I actually tried to steal it! Its a good thing the department store I tried to take it from had hidden cameras to stop morons(like me)from taking things. To make the long story short, I did the right thing and brought the soundtrack from another store. When I finally heard it, I couldnt kick myself in the butt enough times. It sucks! The Good: on the rap side of things Onyx team up with Wutang on The Worst which was a dope collabo at the time. Noreaga, Nas and Nature team up on the dope Blood Money Part 2. Snoop Doggy Dogg and The Eastsiders drop a laid back joint on Feels So Good. Naughty By Nature's tribute to Tupac called Mourn You Till I Join You is the best rest in peace song to a rapper ever made and is the most underrated tribute joint of all time next to T.R.O.Y. On the R&B side of things, Eric Benet has the best R&B track on here called Why and David Holister's The Weekend featuring Redman and Erick Sermon is another notable cut. The Bad: Mia X's Soldier Funk which features Mac and Fiend is hot garbage and so is Rufus Blaq's Outta Sight. Cardan and Jermaine Dupri team up on the craptastic commercial joint Jam On It ruining any fond memories you might have had for the Newcleus classic where they took the sample from. The R&B track by Sexions(what a weak play on words) is doody and Amari's Callin is so weak you'll break your finger pressing the skip button. Dishonorable mentions: Something For The People featuring Trina and Tamara's No One(weak) and Raphael Saadiq featuring Willie Max's Cant Get Enough(I cant enough of pressing skip when I hear it)
The Ugly: R&B and Rap intermingle and have an ugly baby by the name of Never Say Goodbye by Adrianna Evans and Phife Dog. The Game which features Mack 10, Big Mike and EWF is the worst rap record on the soundtrack. Awful production and for a song with so many features on one track to suck like that is just shameful. Black Ceasar's The Symptoms takes the number two spot as the worst rap track on the soundtrack and I never heard a dude sound so corny and so gleeful about his corniness before. Bottom Line: This soundtrack is just as godawful as the stupid movie that birthed it. 6 good songs out of 16? That sucks! Dont be a nutball like me and try to steal it. Just pay it no mind like nobody paid this crappy movie no mind.

5 out of 5 stars This is the best yet, hope another one comes out soon........1998-07-09

This CD is the best, as I said I hope another one comes out. This is a mixed up group of different tastes but one of the best yet. "Callin'" by AMARI completely described my relationship with my boyfriend. But I managed to break him of his player ways.
