Bouvier records is known among the 80's funk lover for its great releases, and the Lejenz make no exception,
In a year (1987) far from being the best in funk dance music, this album stands out, we can feel a special atmosfear and concept, great production, smooth vocals, and good lyrics.

The Truth About Lejenz.......2005-02-01

For a beginning album,this CD sounds more like several chapters' worth of experience. The material has musical and lyrical substance.The musicians handle their acoustic axes superbly and
I thought the producer came away with an exceptionally round, full and rich mix of sound."Doctor Groovemaker" gets you moving,
"Telephone Lover" gets you humming,and my favorite ballad "All Through The Night" has the kind of catchy riffs that hook you for good.The vocals on all tracks have a natural airy feel to them,without any hint of digital enhancement.

This album is excellent. A great mix of upbeat songs and ballads. My personal favorites are the slower grooves "Love Me All Through The Night" and "Telephone Lover". I can't wait for the next Chapter!

I listened to the CD from start to finish and the WHOLE thing JAMMED HARD!! I know they are H-Towns hottest undiscovered underground label out and when they get picked up --For sure PLATINUM!!! Don't miss the bunus CD---I got more than my $$ worth with the 1st one and the bonus tracks got me hooked for LIFE!!! This is the best all in all CD on the market.
