5 out of 5 stars Don't Front... Ya Know I Got Cha Opin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2006-05-13

Usually remix/b-side joints are okay at best. This one blew it out the box. This album was released shortly after Black Moon broke up and Smif-n-Wessun left Nervous Records. At the time of the release, the BCC fans gave the disc a thumbs down. Now that the dust has settled, this one's been looked at as a great companion to "Enta Da Stage." This is a great collection of B-sides and remixes, including the remix of "I Got Cha Opin" and "Buck 'Em Down."

My only beef and the reason I didn't buy it when it first came out 10 years ago... "Reality (Killin' Every Ni@@a)" was not on the LP. If that song was on there, this LP would be even crazier, but nonetheless IT'S STILL SOLID!!!

Grab ya' Tims and ya' hoodies and remember what "representing" was really about!

Black Moon unfortunately never experienced fame and fortune like many "sellout" mainstream artists do nowadays, but real hip hop fans have always loved and respected what they brought to the table. Diggin' in dah Vaults is a collaboration of Black Moon's greatest hits...many of the songs are either from their debut album "Enta Da Stage", the album's remixes or B-sides to their successful singles. The CD insert also provides a timeline of Black Moon's rise(a nice addition). This compilation is not intended for rookies of the Black Moon experience and those without an appreciation for real hip hop and not the typical braggadocio rap. Real hip hop heads will appreciate this album from one of the greatest trios to set foot in hip hop.

BCC Classic! if u love Buckshot and Smiff n Wessun you will love this! This album will make you get on a plane, terrorist and all and go up to Brooklyn and find him, this is hot, Black Moon is hot, and the whole BCC is hot!

5 out of 5 stars A true classic.......2005-09-11

This is a 5 mic cd a true classic from one the the real legends of underground hip hop.

5 out of 5 stars Bullseye, direct hit, don't miss.......2004-08-22

While most artists have remixes that are either complete garbage or beats ripped off of earlier classics, Black Moon's remixes improved on each cut except for "How Many Emcees" (the remix is tight, but the original can't be beaten). As mentioned before, "Buck 'Em Down" and "I Got Cha Open" are the best ones of the lot. "Buck 'Em Down" adds more elements of Donald Byrd's "Wind Parade" to the beat and Buckshot relaxes his flow and melts into the track. One of my favorite slept-on tracks here is "Murder MC's" which was a B-side for "Buck 'em Down" (or "I Got Cha Open"... I can't remember which). If you're a Black Moon fan or just a fan of that era of Hip-Hop, this is a must-buy.
