Great reggae album. Jah Make A Rastaman is def the standout track on this album. Alot of HR's solo work is pretty bad - this album, along with Charge (under his name HR aka Paul Hudson) are the two best. This is not as polished sounding as Charge which makes it more interesting.

Human Rights "I Luv" is one of the best reggae albums tat I've ever heard. Not only is it inspired, but songs like "Who's Got The Herb?," and "Shame In Dem Game" are more than exceptional! Every song is worth listening to, and the lyrics are all concious with praises to King Selassie frequent and sincere. As far as finding a copy, I don't know what to tell you. I was lucky enough to be given my copy by a friend who came upon it by chance. I've never heard of or seen another copy anywhere, but if you can find one it is well worth owning!!

This is album is great from front to back...Its good to hear the West coast style again...everyone else is going to a southern style, but Roscoe keeps delievering lyrics over all beats, not just crunk beats... Much recommended if you like Y.A., DPG, or West Coast rap at all

3 years since his solid 4 star debut and 1 year since he almost died in a car accident, the little bro of Kurupt is back to rep the west. With 15 songs, about 8 are good, 2 I skip and the rest are ok. There is just too many flaws on this to stand up to his debut and he definitely doesn't show his full potential. For starters Fingazz produced all 15 songs (nothing special either). Guests are heavy as well, on 9 of the 15 songs. His lyrics don't really get showcassed as much as they should. he needed some of those upbeat bouncy west coast sogns that he rips up. If you're a fan I'd cop it, it still is decent just not as good as I expected after a 3 year wait, and he has done better, hopefully he will put out better material in the future since he is only about 22.

Young Roscoe has done a better album than his last! Roscoe hooks up with FINGAZZ( a westcoast producer for STREETLIGHT PRODUCTION) got two jamz like"SUMMER TIME AGAIN" and "SEX BUDDY" that are sure to put Roscoe back up in the west coast Game! This isn't his best game cuz he's got planns for another album to come out "07" which will be his best! Now should u buy the Album "I Love Cali"? Yes it's a man back in his prime for the westcoast!

After a three-year hiatus Roscoe returns with his second solo album "I Luv Cali" (2006). Roscoe's debut album "Young Roscoe Philaphornia" was one of my favorite releases of 2003, and the song "Smooth Sailin" off that album was a memorable summertime anthem. I am sure Roscoe is happy to be alive yet alone releasing another album as he was almost killed last year when a car he in was hit by a drunk driver. Roscoe was actually pronounced dead at the scene but miraculously woke up. The album's first full length track and a likely single is "Summertime Again", Roscoe provides a laidback cut celebrating his love for California and the summer on a feel good head nodder. The decent "That's Wassup" follows, and has Roscoe showing his appreciation for one night stands. Roscoe reps himself and his squad on "Get My Grind On", remembering how his older brother Kurupt always encouraged him to get his hustle on. No West Coast Rap album would be complete without a weed song Roscoe's is "Get High Like An Eagle". After the single the next real standout for me is "Rain and Shine", Roscoe goes deeper with his lyrics on this laidback love ballad. Roscoe grooves through "I Feel Like" and talks more to the ladies on "Flip Flop". Roscoe provides yet another sex based track with another single "F*** Buddy", the title to this track explains what its about. Roscoe needs to work on his thugged out cuts, he comes across half-hearted and lacking intensity on cuts like "Gangsta Gangsta Riderz" & "You Don't Know Me". Some girl's clearly got Roscoe twisted as he drops another love cut with "She's On My Mind". The album's closer is "Easy Come Easy Go", Roscoe gets more introspective on this cut talking about his life, property, paying respect to notable politicians and musicians and giving thanks to those who supported him. Standouts on this release for me are "Summertime Again" & "Rain and Shine". Roscoe's got a great remake joint called "Sometimes" on his myspace page which I would love to see drop. I feel like Roscoe provided less variety with this release, whether it is the lyrics, production (heard Roscoe's getting some Scott Scorch production on next album) or lack of notable guest appearances (EG Sleepy Brown) this joint's a step down from the last one. All the same "I Luv Cali" is a decent release, which I recommend checking out.

WOW! Talk about an amazing song with enough heat and fire to blow one to the sky! This song is well done and formulated, sampling Art of Noise's 1987 classic "Moments in Love" and the chorus from NYC Peech Boy's 1982 hit "Don't Make Me Wait (All Night)". Released as early as January 1997, the song is full of looped beats, strong vocals, and is definitely a classic club jam of Trip Hop and House. It's Dance/Electronic music at its best.

Sometimes, when an artist goes solo, it doesn't even really showcase enough within their balance. That definitely goes for so many artists who do place their talent on their own. Beyonce Knowles is one of those artists. Her music seems to have gotten a little bit weaker for her scenario as a solo act. Her latest single, Me, Myself & I, is a weak ballad about moving on from a breakup, and declaring your on your own away from love. The song falls a whole lot more within the expectations I thought it would have. Not even as close as Crazy In Love with Jay-Z had. To be honest, she really should try to concentrate about reuniting Destiny's Chikd, before they are long gone in the process. Beyonce's solo efforts are really starting to become overexposed, and this song is one of the worst I've heard in sometime.

after doing the Duet thing with Jay z on Crazy in Love&then Baby Boy with Sean Paul Beyonce finally has a Solo single released. this Cut is aight at best.the groove is nice but Beyonce hasn't grown through alot to really nail this kind of cat at this stage of her career.I'd like to Hear Beyonce Re-cut this track in a Decade&I bet Cash Money she would nail the Groove Proper.Her Material has a Window Dress feel about it&seems more Contrived than truly displaying that Tina Turner Element that wants to fully come out of Her.

"Crazy In Love" was mediocore at best, but many thought of it as a throwaway track from "Survivor." After the disaster and overplayed "Baby Boy" what do we get? This crud! You can tell she is better off with Destiny's Child. I thought most of the songs from "Survivor" were great but then she went solo and I actually listened to her CD. Wow, just horrible. I dont understand how anyone could have bought that and kept listening to it. I gave mine away. I Hope Beyonce goes back with Destiny's Child and releases better material or her career will be going down the tubes. How well did "Fighting Temptations" do at the theaters? My point exactly. Get "This Is Who I am" by Heather Headly.
