G R E A T.......2006-06-23
Speedy service. Mint condition. The music takes you back. Love, it, love it, love it.
Spectacular.......2000-09-26
These are the Originals before New Edition, and BoyzIIMen the Force MD's were the first to combine doo wop and hip hop. This is one of the best greatest hits collections around. It would have been better if "Forgive Me Girl", "Let Me Love You", and "Itchin for a scratch was included. I remember they opened for Madonna in 1989. I remember these guys headlining with New Edition and sharing the bill with rappers in the 80's,and for all the die hard fans look for a new cd in early October 2000.
Definitely for lovers and others!.......2000-07-21
It doesn't get much better than this! Force MD's led the old skool tracks in the love department, and to make a cd with the most high quality love jams of my time just made my day. My cd collection, though rather extensive, was incomplete until the UPS truck arrived with this one today... very satisfied!
Ballads Don't Get Better.......2000-04-29
Ballads just don't get better than "Tears", "Couldn't Care Less", and "Tender Love". Hearing this album makes you wonder why Force MD's didn't stick around longer than they did. Although I think it would have been fun to include "One Plus One" and "Forgive Me Girl" here, this is all about the slow jams. The only wrong step was including the remake of "I Wanna Know Your Name"; there's no improvement to the song itself, and the ending monologue is particularly cringe-worthy. Still, "For Lovers and Others" really makes a case for the understated brilliance of the Force MD's. (I'd love to see them on VH1's "Where Are They Now", wouldn't you?)
solid disc.......2000-01-26
this group was interesting in that they were rappers&singers but for me they were far better singers.Love is a house was my jam.tender Love was cool but it's been played to death.still overall this is a solid disc.the vocals&the music still sound good.

Customer Reviews:
Great collection of Coolio's greatest hits..........2002-11-24
This album is a pretty good collection of Coolio's hits over the years and I would recommend it to any rap fan. My fav tracks on the album are Gangsta's Paradise, C U When You Get There, Ooh La La, I Remember, Geto Highlights, and 1,2,3,4 (Sumpin' New). If you are a fan of Coolio then this is essential to have. One thing though, they should have put more of Coolio when he was hardcore, like more songs from It Takes A Thief. But it is still a good album and has all his best hits. Get it
Coolio: The Greatest Hits.......2002-10-28
Coolio has made a huge amount of sucess in the 90's and has even
established 3 CD's in the progess. His Greatest Hits CD combines
all his best songs from It Takes A Thief (1994), Gansta's Paradise (1995), My Soul (1997). For Instance Coolio's biggest song Gansta's Paradise is on it 1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin' New) is on it I Remeber is also on it and there's alot more. Overall this CD is a great one and if you don't have and you're a huge Coolio
fan well then now's the right time to get.
al;right.......2001-12-24
coolio was'nt the best asrtist he was good for a minute despite his crossover, u stayed seeing coolio on tv during his first 2 cd's, the best songs are on here my soul was street my only fault was they should have put get up get down on here featuring his mentor wc.
Excellent for casual fans looking for his signature songs--.......2001-08-13
Also, for people looking for a sampling of 90's crossover rap-- despite the gangsta-heavy themes, Coolio seemingly had no problems with making it onto radio and video rotations, and his real-life persona was always inviting and articulate-- unlike some of his peers who felt like they had to live up to a thuggish image, Coolio thankfully avoided, for the most part, any major run-ins with the law after his career took off.. Since then, though, he's severed his ties with Tommy Boy-- which is why this compilation is receiving a "quiet" release-- and Coolio runs his own indie label where he plans to release a new album stateside (it's already out overseas). ...
Not a fantastic voyage, just a trip on the corn road/rowed........2001-07-20
Granted, South-Central California has offered up some fine cinematic inspiration, but let's not get carried away. Compton is not exactly known as the place from where lyrical masters hail, and Coolio is no exception. The following sub-classic lyrics prove my point -"slide slide slippity slide" "A can-o-corn,a can-o-corn. All I had for dinner was a can-o-corn" and "I came back from the Congo as Return Of The Jedi. I smoke the spinach and you get popped in your ezzye"
Say What!?
Coolio, a.k.a. Artis Ivey, has done some decent work, but now he attempts the ludicrous feat of dropping a greatest hits album! (Please note the description at the top of the page, "Fantastic Voyage: Greatest Hit". Well said, HIT! Perhaps truth in advertising?). Bangin', Slangin, ho's, sixty fo's, G's, 9's, Ballin', Yes Y'allin', Triggaz, and Ni**az. Can anyone say, tired, or Cliche. After a decade this language is no longer fresh, hip, or even close to original
I find it troubling that this album is even being made, considering Tupac has released more albums after his death than Coolio has in his entire career! I personally think that Coolio, who has no more albums than Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys,or N*Sync, and half the albums of Hanson should be seriously embarrassed.
Save your money and buy Weird Al Yankovich's "Amish Paradise"

Though they were ostensibly a part of the latter-day extended Native Tongues posse (a loose association of groups that involved De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, the Jungle Brothers, and Queen Latifah), Naughty by Nature always were a square peg for that round hole. Looking back on NBN's career on the eve of the release of Nature's Finest, it makes more sense to see them as harbingers of a new era of hip-hop: their mix of hardcore posing (lead MC Treach waved a machete around onstage) and pop hooks foreshadowed the rise of Puff Daddy and Jay-Z. They had only two bona fide hits--"O.P.P." and "Hip Hop Hooray," both of which were huge--and the rest of the 17 tracks here follow much the same formula, matching a pop-hook backing track with a big chorus. If there were truth in advertising, Nature's Finest would have been released as a single, but fans may enjoy having all these songs together on one collection. --Bucky Wunderlick
Customer Reviews:
Good hits from naughty by nature!!!!!!!.......2005-07-21
I like almost all of these songs. Get This!!!!!!!!
worth it for the hits.......2004-08-03
i bought this because two of my favorite three rap songs ever were naughty by nature songs, the undeniable anthems "hip hop hooray" and "o.p.p." they also had the lesser hit "everything's gonna be alright" which included the immortal (and hard-to-argue) line, "if you ain't nevah BEEN to tha ghetto, don't evah COME to tha ghetto, 'cuz you wouldn't underSTAND the ghetto." and plus, i just need more quality rap music (without having too much, mind you). i like these guys, what they stood for: you got your streetwise gangsta-element, and your catchy, danceable, pop grooves in one package. no more pretending to like NWA, hooray! sadly, only about half of this greatest hits package is worth listening to, but then again, that's a pretty damn fine ratio for a best-of compilation in this genre.
Needs Some Work.......2002-06-23
This album wasn't exactly packed with what I consider Naughty By Nature's greatest hits, but it wasn't all too bad. I picked it up figuring that it would be packed with hits from their previous albums, but was somewhat dissapointed once I started listening to it. Overall I'd say that it wasn't too bad, but unless you're a die-hard N.B.N fan, I'd suggest you stick to IICons or one of their better albums.
BUY THIS ALBUM!.......2000-03-20
This is the only NBN album you will ever need 2 have! It has all the classics: Hip Hop Hooray, OPP, Feel Me Flow, Clap Yo Hands, and more! Buy it if U R a true hip-hop fan!
all that you will ever need by nbn.......2000-01-23
it seems that every summer that naughty has a catchy song and then disappears.and this disc sums up their careers perfectly.catchy and something to bounce to like hip hop hooray, opp&feel me flow but nothing that is classic or essential still give them credit for surviving the rap game for a solid decade.

RIDDLER RULES!!!.......2005-05-09
This 2 disc continuous party mix is one of the best of it's kind
ever! The Riddler produces and mixes all the tracks unexageratedly, preserving the original music subject and lyrics.
You can blast the volume for a real club feel or keep it subdued as background. Even the toe tapping wall flowers will be satisfied as the vocals are left in midrange. They won't miss a word! I intend to play this at my next cocktail party. Theres no explicit language to worry about with the kids. The whole package is sophisticated and fun!
Another Great Album By The Riddler!!.......2004-02-23
I am delighted by this Cd I believed it was going to be the same old mix Cd but, as I put it into my Cd player I realized it is a great Cd. It is very well mixed and The Riddler has done a great job creating it! There are just too many good songs on this album that I can't name them all. This Cd is a must have for your Party, Club or Dance collection with 21 great songs there is no going wrong in purchasing it. My personal favorites are "Better Off Alone (Jam X & Dumonde Remix)" by Alice Deejay, "I Turn To You (Hex Hector Mix)" by Melanie C, and "Let Me Go...Release Me (Johnny Vicous Remix) by Veronica. All and all this is a great Cd and I would recommend it to everyone.

One of the best Greatest Hits cd ive ever heard.......2001-06-10
Hey this is a GREAT cd, this is coming from a huge fan of NBN, nontheless, this is a great cd even if you just like rap in general. It includes such classics as Hip Hop Hooray, and O.P.P. Two of the best rap songs to get a party jumping of all time. This is a must have for any rap fan.
O.P.P.......2000-10-08
I'm just reviewing the song "O.P.P" cuz thats the only one I know, and I luv it, it's the bomb song! "Ya down wit O.p.p? yeah u know me who down wit o.p.p? Every last homie!" That songs a good rap! Getch yo rap on!
The Essential NBN CD.......2000-08-30
For early fans of Naughty By Nature this is a great way to start experiencing one of the most influential hip-hop groups of all time.
It doesn't have anything new for veterans of NBN, but it still is a great collection of their best songs.
What more can you ask for?.......2000-01-05
As long as you don't own Naughty by Nature's previous albums, this is a great purchase. You get the 5 best songs that were from previous albums all on one disc, which means above all else, no fussing with the cd player in the car while you're driving.
Very Good CD.......1999-12-08
They are missing a few good songs but all of the songs on here are good

Tommy Boy's Greatest Hits.......2005-09-03
It was just the CD I was looking for with all the old break dance hits. I searched the web over and could not find it (...)I finally came across it and the Tommy Boy Megamix sweetened the deal. Thank you.
PLEASE BRING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2001-03-14
THIS IS THE BEST "OLD SCHOOL" GREATEST HITS EVER. THIS CD HAS ALL THE BEST OLD SCHOOL JAMS EVER!!! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I HAD ONE ABOUT TENS YEARS AGO BUT I LET SOMEONE BORROW IT AND I NEVER SAW IT AGAIN.
There is nothing better.......2000-06-22
The Tommy Boy Megamix is worth the price of the album alone. This is the cornerstone of any old school collection. It carries two major tracks from the 80's hip hop scene with Play at Your Own Risk and Planet Rock. I wish I could find it again, my last copy on CD walked off at a party in college...
One of the best!.......2000-04-11
I grew up with these tunes. This is one of the best cd mixes of all time. Unfortunately, its not available anywhere. PLEASE RELEASE MORE COPIES OF THIS CD.

Really love it, One of my favorites........2006-10-22
This is a favorite CD of mine. Love Hypertrophy. Their songs on the mix are great. The year is 2006 and I still enjoy listening to this mix. Great all around mix of dance tracks.
Exercise Heavan.......2001-09-25
If you like to exercise listening to music and have had trouble finding the kind of music used in aerobic classes, Planet Dance is the CD for you. The music is upbeat throughout and keeps you going. It's also very good for when you are caught in traffic and just need a beat to keep the blood preasure down but your head boppin.
Started out great but kind of fell flat.......2000-11-08
I bought this cd because I wanted all the songs by Hypertrophy (why they won't come out with a full CD of their own, I just don't know). I think there are just too many different sounds trying to mingle on this CD. I don't know a lot about music (especially dance/trance) but it seemed like there were some really upbeat dance songs and also some more R&B-esqe stuff and some really heavy sounds, too. My very favorite is the one by Catapila. If that doesn't make you just want to get up and dance till the end of time, nothing will. Personally, I am one of those people who will buy a CD for even one great song, so if you are like that too, you should get this CD. There are some great songs on it. But if you have only a specific sound you like to hear, you might be better off getting a different compilation because there's such a wide variety here. I do have to say, though, that it is one of the best mixed compilations that I have. On some CD's they just lay the tracks right on top of each other, but this one really takes into consideration the rhythym of each song.
