4 out of 5 stars Dj Fury at his best........2005-10-23

This is his best with and without RX Bore (I mean lord, that clown could not rap). Yes this reminds me of my college days a lot of people played Boom Contest (the stepping of bass from high to low and back) But, Neverending Bass was his best his Magnum Opus with UnderCover lover coming in second.

His second album (the one where he is a comic book here) had 1 or 2 good tracks but it was boring overall. I didn't like Dj Fury as much as Magic Mike and Quad Force because he music tried to be to dancy.

5 out of 5 stars Fury don't play dat.......2003-01-19

This cd brings back some memories!! In my opinion this cat kicked some ace back in the day, and even more now. I've listen to this cd lately, and it kicks more than ever. Music has definetley changed but this cd is still da stuff......check it out!!!!

4 out of 5 stars worth picking up.......2002-05-22

The good tracks of this c.d. is 1.fury dont play that 4.undercover lover and from side 2, 1.anytime is party time and my favorite 2.games of the lame. The rest of it is just bass filler with electronic star wars and battle star galactica like sound efects which arn't that bad, but after too many listens can become a bore. Since there is no selection for 31/2 stars i'll give it the benefit of the doubt and give it 4. Bass out.

5 out of 5 stars bass a ta z.......2001-06-22

put this right next to your dj magic mike definite have to have for your bass collection most known tune was when he starts the bass off real low then it steps up in tune until its a higher pitched bass then steps back down.

Album Description

Prepare yourself for a redefinition of the flute, for you are about to experience a range of expression and color hitherto unexplored through this revered instrument. Flutist Linda Wetherill has been exploring for decades, and she has returned from her journeys with immeasurable riches, a mere fraction of which are encapsulated in this recording. Born in Milwaukee, Linda Wetherill graduated from the Eastman School of Music, having been awarded there the coveted Performer's Certificate. The desire to expand her musical horizons prompted her to leave for Europe, where she became first a member of the Garbarino Chamber Ensemble in Milan, then principal flutist of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony. This prestigious position, however, did not satisfy all her evolving personal artistic needs, and two years later, when she learned that Pierre Boulez had just established the "new music" center IRCAM in Paris, Linda auditioned and was appointed solo flutist of the resident Ensemble Intercontemporain. This move from essentially mainstream chamber and orchestral playing to intensive interaction with many of the greatest contemporary composers of the world was a major turning point for her. Working directly with composers Boulez, Stockhausen, Halffter, Messiaen, Berio, Holliger and Kagel, she developed a prestigious and authoritative! solo repertoire which carried her to European festivals and to NY's Carnegie Hall to premiere Stockhausen's Im Freundschaft as winner of East & West Artists International Competition.

5 out of 5 stars outstanding flute works.......2003-09-22

A great CD of hitherto unknown to me flute pieces by an amazing performer. Highlights are the Arnaoudov and Vali!

5 out of 5 stars A Furious Artisan Indeed.......2000-11-14

I am totally "in awe" of this CD of Linda performing solo flutes, throughout it's entireity. She amazes me every time I listen to her or this recording. The intensity of her artistry, command of the instruments & interpretations of the amazing compositions are awe-inspiring to myself, also a flutist. The repertoire is very up-to-date, feeding my hungry ears. Linda's command of the flutes, inspirational composers, along with remarkable audio engineering & a beautiful CD package make this a treasure. [...]
