Pretty good album by them. Good beats the first real party rap music. Its better than all the garbage thats out as of right now. If you like any of there songs like theyre popular ones, then there is no reason that you wouldnt like this album. Pick it up!!!

I think this album is the bomb ! luke and the 2 live are at there best in this album i think although I have only the pleasure to listen to 3 albums in total .. they are the best and set the grounds for rap/hiphop for the future ....

Back in 1990, Miami based rap group the 2 Live Crew got into trouble for the explicit lyrics on the album As Nasty as They Wanna Be. The album was banned for sale in parts of Florida, and some record store clerks actually got arrested for selling it. Of course, all the controversy actually ended up helping sales of the album, when people wanted to find out what the fuss was about. "Banned in the U.S.A." is a rap protest song about the persecution the group underwent. The chorus is based on Bruce Springsteen's hit "Born in the U.S.A.". It's a good song that ended up being the group's biggest hit, reaching #20 on the Hot 100. There are four remixes of the song on this CD. Here is the complete track listing:

If you are into "dirty rap" this is a great album for you. They don't sit ther and rap about killing or getting high or so on. these guys like to rap about everything around sex. you think it's kinky or dirty these guys are rapping about doing. i highly reccomend this album to anyone that is not offended by foul language or human anatomy.
