Excellent choice. If your preference is traditional gospel, you will not be disappointed. My review may be somewhat biased as I have always enjoyed anything by Donald Vails. It is truly sad that he is no longer with us. This albumn captures what I admired the most about his arrangements, the message of "old" songs is not upstaged or overshadowed by new arrangements.

I wonder now that many of the traditional artists of the Gospel world are gone, what will happen to the traditional 'sho nuff' make you wanna shout music. This CD follows in the tradition of his music. Donald Vails' music continues to praise God, lift up the name of Jesus and puts you in the mind set of praise and much thanksgiving. This one is a keeper, you may put it down to listen to the new stuff, but you have to keep going back!!

Vails was a class act, teacher, composer and friend. He will truly be missed. His ability to change octives and that one of a kind growl, and the feeling he put into this recording cannot be matched.
