Okay!.......2005-04-18
Most of the reviewers were probably fans when this came out, I'd just like to note that you can find this enjoyable to some extent even if you weren't paying attention in the early 90s.
Also, other reviewers have compared this group to Rage Against the Machine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. While I can see where this comes from, this group is actually much, much closer in style to 2 Skinnee J's, and even more so the Marginal Prophets.
The greatest album from Urban Dance Squad.......2001-10-22
I think this is a great album and probably their best. I'm surprised it did not make it commercially because there are a few tracks that could of been radio hits. It's sad that they lost the touch that makes this album very special. Buy this if it's still available, you won't regret it.
they RUINED ROUTINE!!!.......2000-11-21
man, i just ordered this CD and i was VERY disappointed. i love the album, but this CD has a different version of ROUTINE than the cassette, and it's TERRIBLE!!! AWFUL!!! anyone want to buy this CD from me?
The Best Band You Never Heard Of.......2000-02-20
Urban Dance Squad should be superstars in the US by now, with albums like this, which is easily as good as anything the Red Hot Chili Peppers ever cranked out, not to mention Rage Against The Machine. Oh well, it's your loss Yankees.
Thank God!.......1999-06-22
When I walked into the record store today, my friend who worked there had a smile on his face. I asked him what he was so happy about, and then he told me that Urban Dance Squad albums have been rereleased! I hit the roof! I haven't been this excited since underworld's Beacoup Fish came out.
Urban Dance Squad is one of the most versitile groups arround today, I fell in love with them when I was 12 and I have never looked back. Rude Boy is the best rapper by far, not just for his UDS work but for his work with Junkie XL where he really shines. I just wish UDS would get back together...
This album is pretty good, but I like there later stuff much better. Their best song by far is "Good Grief". But this album has some gems including "Comeback" "Son of da Culture Clash".
UDS were the orginal Rage aganst the Machine, Rage ripped these guys off soo bad, its unbeliveable. I can't and will not listen to Rage.
Become a fan of UDS, I promise you'll enjoy their music...
