Raw Sylk...no Pure Trash.......2005-04-15

I purchased this album back when it first came out--I don't remember why exactly. Eight years later--while putting together a women in hip hop presentation for a music class--I discovered the cd in my archives. Never having listened to it(except for Romeo & Juliet), I popped it in the Cd player, and discovered that this chick is garbage. Don't get me wrong the girl does have lyrical potential(although she fails to execute it here) but she is seriously lacking in all other aspects of music developement. I mean, who wrote the hooks to the songs. She kept talking about how she was going to blow up--she was right, because I am going to pour the gasoline on the disk personally. The only song that was decent on the album was the first single, Romeo & Juliet, but I don't think she knows that they killed themselves at the end of the story, or maybe she did, because this listening experience made me want to die.

I had the opportunity to meet Slyk E Fyne at Bugg's House Studio in San Bernardino, just outside L.A. where she putting together her next album. She was so chill, so sweet and respectful, down to earth and a real diva rap queen Sylk E Fyne is the Godmother of Rap and I can't wait for her next efforts to hit the streets This album was and still is bombay and i rate it all that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A very hot debut from the premere female west coast rapper.Every song is great begin to end.This set is recommended to those who like female rappers and those who bought her second album "Tha Chum Up"...

When I first heard this song it was at school on some boys cd player. I'd never even heard of this cd. Then at our prom they played it twice because everyone liked it so much.(Romeo and Juliet) That song is the greatest !!!!

Romeo and Juliet i bump this in my car whenever i do long driving. The bass is the bomb!! Sylke keeping it real hard core!! The lyrics describe my freaky inner style (NO SHAME)!! All the ladies should have this cd, especially if your man is THE bomb because sylke sums it up in this cd to describe emotions. I had to have this cd!! YOU"S ABOUT TO GET SOMETHIN' THAT YOU WILL NEVER REGRET AND IT'S GONNA BE THE BOMB THIS IS WHAT I BET, YEP. GET THIS CD. YOU MUST HAVE IT!!

I first heard this CD in my boyfriend's car and I fell in love with it. I knew I had to have it. It has the Girl Power/ love song thing going on and it sounds great with the base turned up. I definently recommend it.
