About the Artist
Blu-j was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. His interest in music began at a early age and he began producing and recording music in highschool with his cousin Ace. His music career was put on hold by his incarceration of 3 years. This only motivated him even more to bring his knowledge and experience of street life to the public. His life was turned around once more with the tragic death of his cousin Ace. This inspired him to start his own record label Cartel Enterprise - which is currently introducing the area's youth to the music industry.

This is the first true hipp hop or rap album I've heard in years! It's such a relief to know that there are still some REAL artist out there besides the mainstream "I'll say anything you wanna hear" artist that have flooded the music industry. This album deals with every day life and really tells it how it is. For every one who's into the underground rap scene this is the album to get. It's got club beats and laid back parlay tracks. It's a CD you can play all the way through and not touch the skip button. This is a true representation of the Dirty South!
