This compilation has full length 12" club mixes of top freestyle classics from down in Miami that are hard to find on CD. It starts off with Jill's irresistible Match Made Up In Heaven, and other highlights include Olga's Play Another Song (it would be great to find her follow ups on CD - Power Play & It Happens Every Time - as well as Natasha's Be Gentle with my Heart), the original addictive Jam on Me by Company B, plus other Ish productions - Be Mine Tonight by Promise Circle and Something Tells Me by Tiger Moon, and other freestyle goodies from Connie, Shana & PSO and others. If you want these for your CD player, this compilation is highly recommended.

PS HOT Productions: Plenty more Miami freestyle artists are not on CD yet. Any chance of bringing out a compilation with them?

Miami Dance Classics Vol. 1 is an excellent overview of the Miami dance scene, circa mid-80's. Many of the tracks here reveal the hand of Ish Ledesma, the dance impressario best known for producing Company B (who are here in the form of their club hit "Jam On Me" in an extended remix). The CD includes several rare and hard-to-locate U.S. dance smashes from artists like Promise Circle, Tiger Moon, Shana, G.T., Connie and Tolga (as well as other songs not well-known outside of the Miami scene). This is a good choice for any lover of Florida freestyle classics.
