3 out of 5 stars Old school Bad Religion wanna be's.......2004-11-03

Man did NUFAN sound different in the late 80's early 90's this band has been around for almost 20 years and they used to have a more punk/metal sound before they got all poppy. this album is ok there are only a few stand outs mostly the title track and "when it's gone" but after those I could swear i was listening to some old school Bad Religion which would be good except that their songs arent that great and their vocals by tony sly tend to be weak at times. Kind of bland but their lyrics are pretty good too bad they only write about love now.

5 out of 5 stars buy this record right this second.......2004-04-02

This is the best of the best for NUFAN. An old record, but in my opinion, their second best album after Leche Con Carne. Buy it, you won't be dissapointed.

5 out of 5 stars No Use For a Name is bad!.......2003-04-14

The Daily Grind is an awesome CD. The guitar riffs are just ingenius. This band is punk at its best....well 90's punk at its best. Before they went soft that is....I personally like this CD along with Don't Miss the Train, 2 of NUFAN's best CDs if you ask me. And the lyrics r just breathtaking. They dont sing about that poppy junk on this CD, it is much more political in my view, singing about pollution and whatnot. One of my favorite CD's.

5 out of 5 stars No Use For expensive production.......2000-05-12

Despite this being one of their earlier albums, this record totally shines. It seems that after TDG, No Use pretty much abandoned their hardcore sound for more melodic harmonies. No worries, it's all good. They haven't done wrong by me yet. This album is a jewel. Every song is brutally good and reeks of pure beauty. Perhaps the best song on the CD is a love song. Love song? No Use For A Name? Yes, I be talking about "Permanent Rust". All in all, this is a CD that should appeal not only to mentally disturbed No Use stalkers like me, but to the casual fans as well. Ya poseurs.

5 out of 5 stars this is adressed to the guy at the bottom.......2000-05-10
