There are so many wonderful tracks on this classic CD. Magic Mike is a wizard on the wheels and MC Madness provides catchy lyrics. This is a must have for those who love bass. A good system is a must to truly enjoy this masterpiece!!

For the Bass Heads.......1999-12-14

This one true masterpiece is a must have for the bass heads. Such tracks like (sorry wrong beat & back to haunt you)are true woofer testers. Listen to these tracks and I promise you you'll want to buy it.

My first Bass CD.......1998-09-27

Magic Mike was first introduced to me on this albun, and I was forever hooked to his fantastic use of bass and smooth record cutting abilities. After getting this album I was inspired to buy the rest of his... best CD buys I ever made, with the exception of Pink Floyd. What can I say? I have eclectic tastes.

I can remmember when I used to roll around town with my trunk rattling, turning everyones heads. Every time I listen to this CD it makes me feel like its the mid 90's again. If you like Bass, rap or are a die hard 2BMF fan this CD is one of the greatest of all time. Loaded with hard hitting LOW frequency BASS, this CD will have every wannabe turning and wondering "WHAT WAS THAT!?" If you wanna hear REAL BASS then this CD is a must!!!! (WARNING This CD Is HIGHLY Addictive, And The ULTRA LOW BASS May Cause Premature Speaker Failure, Upset Neighbors, Poor Hearing, And Mass Hysteria!!!!!)

Excellent well crafted bass masterpiece. This was the first bass CD I bought. Now I have half a dozen, and it's still the best. From slow ultra low songs like Bass 4 Love and Old Tyme Bass, to booming hyper fun in Pump That Girl, Do Not Resist the Beat, Tick Top Don't Stop and Place Called Bass, if you got the subs to handle it, this is one seriously massive bass CD.

If you don't have the subs, don't even bother, you'll miss the whole point.

Needs Focus.......2006-09-24

I picked up Further Lo's self-titled debut album on a whim. I saw it in a clearance bin and decided to give it a shot, not really knowing just what to expect. These guys are all over the place on this album. One minute it's sounding like a thrash metal album, then it shifts to a doomier sound, then it's sounding closer to stoner rock, then over to a nu-metal/alternative rock sound. I'm reminded of Faith No More, Brand New Sin, Stone Temple Pilots, and Sevendust all at once. This all over the place, mish-mash of styles is distracting to say the least, and robs what could have otherwise been a good album of some much needed focus. It's one thing to incorporate various styles into your overall sound, but when the styles change from one song to the next, it seems as if the band can't decide what they want to sound like.

Call this one a 2.5 star album. The potential is there, but it's just not working on this particular album. The poor production values don't help much either.

Vicious Bass In Your Face.......2000-10-22

This album will stun any old school fan. There's record scratching and window rattling bass up the wazoo! Unlike the new Magic Mike, there are lots of phat lyrrics. Every song is as good as the last, and after listening to the album once, you'll want to buy all his stuff. Another great album, Dj Magic Mike And The Royal Posse, is just as good. Not surprisingly, it varries almost completely from Bass The Final Frontier, in a good way of course. This album will turn your brain into mush with its awsome bass, and it is strongly reccomended for the hip-hop enthousiaste.
