Whats happening to these collections?.......2007-02-19
These compilations get worse and worse every year. Bad enough garbage rappers is always puttin out garbage. So we're forced to purchase their crap twice? I'll admit that I do like some of Benzino's work, but I hate the fact he forces his tracks on hit albums, when he hasn't had a hit in years. The best track for me is Mobb deep's got it twisted. The source could have pulled tracks from anywhere to make this album at the very least luke warm. Two thumbs down!
garbage.......2006-05-15
benzino?? the only reason he is here is because he owns half of the source magazine
Pleaze! .......2005-10-25
Take this from a true hip hop junkey!
1. Lil' Flip - Game Over - don't like the man, but I love this song. Also on the album "U Gotta Feel Me". 0/10
2. Akon feat. Styles P - Locked Up - a hot collabo; this was a Buzzworthy song (If you watch MTV, you know what Buzzworthy is). Also on Akon's album "Trouble" and Styles P's upcoming album "Time is Money". 1/10
3. Juvenile feat. Soulja Slim - Slow Motion - a hot jam in the summer; it's too bad that Soulja Slim could not live to see the success of this song. Also on Juvenile's album "Juve The Great". 9/10
4. Ludacris - Blow It Out - a song that disses Bill O'Reilly; good song, but outdated at this point. Also on the album "Chicken and Beer". 10+/10
5. Mase - Welcome Back - his return song that was hot in the summer and a Buzzworthy joint. Also on the album "Welcome Back". 2/10
6. Petey Pablo - Freek-A-Leek - I STILL love this song!!! Lil' Jon always has a hot song; sounds similar to Usher's "Yeah". Also on the album "Still Writing In My Diary: 2nd Entry". 10/10
7. Houston feat. Chingy, I-20 and Nate Dogg - I Like That - I think that this is a really stupid song. Shoulda had Ludacris and Shawnna rather than Chingy and I-20. This should NOT be on this album. Also on Houston's album "It's Already Written". 1/10
8. Young Gunz - No Better Love - this is a REALLY old song. This should not be on there just for the fact that this is outdated. Also on the album "Tough Luv". 2/10
9. Twista - Overnight Celebrity - everybody hates this song, but I love it. Features Kanye West on the hook. Also on the album "Kamikaze". 5 overrated/10
10. Slum Village feat. Kanye West - Selfish - not as popular a asong as I expected, but I still like it. Also on Slum Village's album "Detroit Deli". 10/10
11. Mobb Deep - Got It Twisted - I love them and the song. It's too bad everybody hates the album. This is one of their best songs ever. Also on the album "Amerikaz Nightmare". 10/10
12. Ray Benzino - Bottles and Up - I like the song, but not the man. But at least this is better than Eminem's latest album. Also on the album "Arch Nemesis". 8/10
13. Lil' Scrappy - No Problem - a hot summer jam; another Buzzworthy song. Also on the album "Lil Jon presents: Trillville and Lil' Scrappy". 1/10
14. Lil' Wayne feat. Mannie Fresh - Bring It Back - hot collabo with the two Cash Money rappers. Didn't blow up the way "Go DJ" did but still a great song. Also on the album "The Carter". 5/10
15. T.I. - Rubberband Man - I STILL love this song! This was a Buzzworthy as well; I do not like Lil' Flip, so I support T.I. Also on the album "Trap Muzik". 1/10
16. Ray Benzino and The Untouchables - Don't Hate - another filler song; I stop the album after hearing "Rubberband Man". 1/10
Crap.......2005-06-22
Words can't describe how bad this is. However, I read reveiws for volume 8, and the reviewer pretty mucyh describes what I think, and I will quote him.....
"Well. Seems like these talentless, gold-toothed imbeciles are really getting rich from churning out this junk faster than Detroit churns out cars because dumb pre-teens and wiggers keep buying into this fad... so I'm going to cash in on it! Quick! Before it dies out! I'm going to make my OWN unlistenable, wretched pop-rap album!
So here I go, with the steps:
1.) Pick out stupid, laughable moniker (IE "Chingy", "Nelly", etc.). Hmm... how about "Dippety D"? I know, I know, it sounds like a Warner Brothers cartoon... but hey, this is what makes money, so who am I to argue?
2.) Go to the mall and buy $500 worth of oversized South Pole and Mecca clothing.
3.) Get a friend with an old electronic keyboard. Actually, scratch the friend part. I can do it myself.
4.) Pick out one of the 16 loaded beats. Choose a tempo.
5.) Put it on, and record myself mumbling over it. Subject matter must not exceed the range of "munny, secks, thugstaz, wummenzz". Oh yeah, gotta curse a lot too. My title track shall be me just endlessly bleating "DIPPETY DIPPETY DIPPETY D!!!!"
6.) When I write the words/lyrics, misspell everything horribly. Hmm. What's a good album title? I know! "Dippity D Duz Da Derrrty Deed".
7.) Shoot the album cover. Wear the aforementioned wigger clothing, scowl like an idiot, and show off my "blang" (fake).
8.) Release, sell the single to MTV, and become a millionaire overnight! It's that easy! AND it requires NO TALENT WHATSOEVER! Those of you clamoring for the "No" button below, wait 'til you hear my new single, "For Sheezy My Wheezy"! It'll soon be blasting at a local school dance near you!
No. Forget it. I'm not going to do any of that. If I make an album, it'll be of my OWN musical merit. I'll actually put some effort into it, and make something I can take pride in.
Avoid.
Show me the "Not Helpful" votes!"

I completely agree with him 101% percent, and he knows what music is.

Overall, I like this album, but should have included "Lean Back", "On Fire" and "Drop It Like It's Hot", rather than the songs that I gave low ratings.
