STILL GOING ON STRONG.....CANT WAIT FOR THA NEXT ONE!!!.......2005-12-04
JA IS STILL MY NIG*A!!!...SOME PEOPLE WOULD NOT SAY IT,WHEN JA WAS ALL OVER THA RADIO FROM 2000 TO AT LEAST 2002,MOST WAS FEALING HIM,AS TO NOW... WHEN 50 CAME ON THA SPOT MOST PEOPLE TURNED ON JA,AND JOIN 50 CENT BAND WAGON...NO DISS TO 50,JUST GETTING MY PIONT ACROSS.
Best Ja Rule album since VVV and Rule 3:36.......2005-12-02
After the dust clears up in the 50 Cent beef, Ja finds himself coping with alot of haters. I think this is because of the release of the just plain stupid Blood In My Eye CD. On this CD Ja doesn't really take shots at anyone, and goes back to the RNB side of himself, not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not really consistent with the image he tried to make people think of him as on the Blood in My Eye album. That is really my only critisism of this wonderful album.
Track for Track
"The Inc Intro" Is sort of annoying but nonetheless vital as he tells us a bit about his life.
"The Last Of The Mohicans" Is a great way to start off the album, a hard core rap by Ja Rule, and a cunning and dangerous beat make this a killer of a song, it features Black Child, who makes the chorus quite memorable.
"Wonderful" features R. Kelly who sings the chorus and a verse, but really for me this song is awesome because of Ja Rule, he sings two memorable verses, that really are deep, saying how if he didn't have all this money that woman probably wouldn't love him as much. R.Kelly's verse is sort of annoying, but the chorus is memorable. Ashanti's useless on this song.
"What's My Name" really more or less of a party song, Ashanti and Ja Rule hook up good on the chorus, but hte lyrics are sort of pointless, nonetheless it's a good song to get up and dance to, really sort of the song that lifts ones spirits, and gets them in the partay mood.
"New York" fabulous song, the reason the i bought this album was this song. Ja sings the chorus wonderfully but unfortunately he only does it once, but guest appearences by Fat Joe and Jadakiss only make this song better. This is one of the most underated songs of 2004 and 2005, everyone i know hums this still today, and it never even one an award, a real gangsta song with a memorable hook.
"Stripping Game" is a pointless skit
"The Manuel" laid back RNB track, don't care too much for it, but Ja's decent in it
"Get It Started" really sucks, the woman who sings in it is terrible, and Ja isn't all that good, just another party song, but even for a party song it's pretty lame.
"R.U.L.E." Is a really deep track with a memorable chorus, and amazing rhyming by Ja in the verses, but unfortunately has a terrible beat to it. But Ja compensates for that with amazing rhyming in the verses, and he really has that hunger in him in this song.
"True Story" This skit is so damn pointless i almost fell out of my chair laughing, here are the lyrics: True F*cking story, i swear on my mothers ice, The greatest f*cking comeback ever, F*cking bottom of the ninth right, three balls two strikes, two outs, bases all loaded, Widy herdes is on the mount or i dont know, some f*cking kid, this f*cking kid comes up, i f*cking put my drink down, f*cking look up, the f*cking ball goes over the green monster, what im telling you i swear on my mothers ice, true f*cking story
"Caught Up" Is a great guess appearence by Lloyd, who sings a good chorus, Ja raps about breaking up in this one, pretty good song, unfortunatly this song had potential but didn't go to far as far as success is concerned, something tells me this could've been a bigger hit.
"Gun Talk" cool chorus, but then again it was songs like these that made Blood In My eye such a bad record, Black Childd's good in this one though. But Ja gets sort of annoying in this
"Never Thought" real intereseting song, with cool lyrics sort of a slow one. About breaking up, sort of sounds like "Caught Up"
"Life Goes On" Ja, Trick, and Chink all give out their condolences to those who died in their lives, a slow song, with solid verses from Ja and Trick, and good inspirational messages from Chink
"Weed" pointless skit
"Where I'm From" a slow light song, with Ja and Lloyd talking about the struggles of growing upin the ghetto, deep passionate lyrics in this one.
"Bout My Buisness" This song is really all Cadillac Tah and Black Child exchanging verses with Young Merc doig a little bit on the chorus, and Ja spitting the last verse, it's a lame attempt at a gangsta song, quite skippable
"Passion" Awesome way to end the CD, real good slow RNB song, with great lyrics
All in all this is a big step up from Blood In My Eye, Ja really showed how much of a true pro he is putting this stupid beef with the steroid man snitch (50 Cent) behind him, and applying himself to make the one of the best albums of his career, i loved it and hope that he continues to make good music.

The Truth.......2005-12-01
This albums sucks so bad. There is only one true reviw on the page the one that says this ablums gay is right this album is gay. G-Unit is way better then ja rule or murder inc. He needs to stop saying s**t like whats his name no one care what his name is. There is usually one song i like on ja rules albums, this time it is wonderful ft. R. Kelly & Ashnti. This song is pretty good Kelly does outstanding, not much Ashanti but he uses her too much, needs to get another r&b female (he can't). Ja Rule does a little better then usual on this song. Overall this album is 1/10.
Better Then GGGGG GAY UNIT.......2005-11-22
To the fa**ot that said he hopes GGGGG UNOT smashes Ja Rule they already did that a long time ago. Anyways this album is better then anything GGGGGAY Unit will ever put out. Ja Rule cannot win at dissing people because he just sucks at doing it but he knows how to make hits and that what really counts in this industry. Sure 50 cent sells more but his hits are more gay then Ja Rules. 50 has some talent now that he has Mase,Mobb Deep and MOP but they not buddies with him they just joined to make money and that is it nuthin more. Anyways buy this album it is way better then GGGGG Gay Unit and always will be.
This alblum is gay.......2005-10-14
This guys gets on my nerves he acts like he can rap but it sounds like a bunch of mumble jumble and come on the whole m.u.r.d.e.r. thing is getting tired I mean get a new hook and I hope G-unit smashes him until hes dead

Customer Reviews:
not to great.......2007-04-04
We were disappointed with this CD, but for the price I guess we can't expect much. I didn't care for the new style presentation of the songs. I like a more traditional rendering.
Not so bad, 100 tunes for 4$.......2005-06-22
I red the comments of two other people who have bought this 4 CD BOX SET and it is not really so bad. I will even add that there are some excellent tunes. However, I must agree with the fact that few tunes seem to have been recorded 40 or 50 years ago, mainly when you hear the scratches of an old turntable but it is just 2 or 3 tunes. Furthermore, if you do not know American music, it is a good BOX SET to buy if you consider that you received 4 CD for 4$ including 100 tunes. On these 4 CD, I have heard some orchestration that I have never heard before and I consider that they are different but interesting. Any way, after hearing these 100 tunes, you will say to yourself that you like this tune, this other tune, this other tune and so on and you will be able to buy a more expensive CD with the tunes that you like. However, I have bought many CDs in the last few weeks and as you know, there are always some tunes that you like and some tunes that you do not like on every CD that you will buy. So, don't buy it at 25$ but at 4 or 5$ dollars, it is a very good choice for 100 tunes.
You get what you pay for........2004-07-04
You get what you pay for. The singers put their own spin on the singing of each song. If you didn't hear the words you would not recognize some of them. Even some of the music sounds like a bad recording of music played on a turntable. Definitely not worth the price.
Now I know why there were no song samples to listen to ..........2004-07-04
I wish this review had been here when I was thinking of purchasing it. I guess you get what you pay for. If you are thinking of buying this, you are better off recording your own CDs (or at least buying one that you can listen to a sampling of the songs). This album includes songs that were mere recordings of the songs playing on an old record player. It's almost so unbelievable that it is funny.

Customer Reviews:
Operatic icon. Performer against which others are measured........2007-05-26
Maria Callas may be the only female operatic 'superstar' working in my lifetime. In the 1950s and early 1960's, she had all the star power and paparrazi draw of Jackie and Marilyn, far outstripping the fame to the world at large of her primary rival, Renita Tibaldi. I am not an expert, or even an experienced amateur at evaluating operatic sopranos; however I've listened to several of the modern crop, and while the newbies probably do a better job of keeping on key, none of them can match the drama emoted by Ms. Callas on any given aria. All three releases are especially good buys, as they all run to over 72 minutes; however the recording quality does show its early (pre-multitrack, pre-digital) recording technology. Each is as good as the next regarding content, but 2 and 3 are a bit better in sound quality.
La Divina set the stage.......2007-01-05
Maria Callas, as I understand it (I'm not a music expert), helped create a new interest in the bel canto tradition of Donizetti and Bellini at mid-twentieth century. This album represents those composers, plus many others as well.
Callas' range in choice of operatic material is great indeed. Selections on this CD run from Gluck to Donizetti to Bizet and Puccini. Her voice, uneven on occasion, does not define her importance. As noted, she helped spark a renewed interest in bel canto works. The irony is that she did not have great coloratura skills. In the selection from Lucia di Lammermoor, a trill is scarcely heard. Think a few years later, to Joan Sutherland, later still to Beverly Sills, and more recently to sopranos such as Angela Gheorghiu. They all have much better technique, trill well, and exhibit much more agile coloratura singing. But Callas was an important predecessor.
More important than technique is the passion that many heard in her voice and her presence on stage. This is a good introduction to the range of Callas' repertoire and a reminder of this fiery singer from decades ago.
The queen of opera.......2004-05-16
Absolutely beautiful! Divine is the only word to do her justice! Viva La Divina, BRAVISSIMA!
Essential!.......2004-04-04
All three La Divina Albums are essential indeed! I bought them all and enjoy them! A very beautiful, dramatic voice!
The entire La Divina series is AMAZING!.......2004-02-26
I bought all three La Divina Releases and they're all splendid. Brilliant, for Callas and beyond!

Customer Reviews:
the man with no hat.......2003-10-06
Travis Tritt was 29 when he recorded this CD in '92; he wrote 2 of the songs, co-wrote 4 more, and most of the material on this CD is very strong.
Choice picks include "Looking Out for Number One" and "T-R-O-U-B-L-E", both hard-driving, gutsy tracks, Marty Stuart's "A Hundred Years from Now", "Blue Collar Man" ("Don't like caviar, we like our soup from a can / Yeah I keep my life simple, I'm a blue collar man") which Travis wrote with Gary Rossington, and the low-down gritty-bluesy "Leave My Girl Alone" by Buddy Guy.
"Can I Trust You with My Heart" went to # 1 on the country charts and was nominated for "Song of the Year" by the CMA, and it's a lovely, heartfelt ballad, though I think Tritt is at his best in the up-tempo numbers.
The musicianship is outstanding, and special mention must be made of Hargus "Pig" Robbins on piano; he is absolutely superb, and the eerie intro and backing on "Worth Every Mile" should be given an attentive ear as it is marvelous and very effective.
Travis has a raw energy and an ability to play with the lyrics in his phrasing, giving his music a fresh and immediate quality. He is a one-of-a-kind singer/songwiter in many ways, and one of the very best.
The booklet insert has all the song lyrics and recording info, and for the gals who like a rough-hewn type of guy, lots of photos of the terrific Mr. Tritt. Hatless. You won't catch this country boy in a cowboy hat. How's that for unique ! Total time is 44'00.
Tritt's third cd.......2003-04-29
Travis Tritt's third album is a varied, admirably risky effort, with equally varied results. Tritt rocks harder than ever before on some of the cuts, almost beyond the boundaries of country radio.
"Blue Collar Man" is a catchy anthem for his main target audience, but it sounds funny to hear a man who's one of the most financially successful artists in country music writing and singing "Won't ever be no millionaire, I'm a blue collar man." The leadoff single "Lord Have Mercy On The Working Man" covers similar territory in a more satirical way. Normally distinctive singers T. Graham Brown, George Jones, and Tanya Tucker are among those chiming in on the final chorus, yet they are ultimately lost in the mix. The title track (a minor hit for Elvis Presley in 1975) is a frenetic rocker featuring the ever amazing Hargus "Pig" Robbins on keyboards. Pure energy from start to finish, it is one of the album's highlights.
As on his previous two albums, Tritt balances out the rockers with some tender ballads. The atmospheric "Worth Every Mile" and the plaintive "Can I Trust You With My Heart" are fine additions to his collection of self-written slow songs, while the straight ahead country ballad "When I Touch You" is totally unmemorable. The final track, Buddy Guy's "Leave My Girl Alone" is a potent blues number on which Tritt proves himself to be the equal of T. Graham Brown and Delbert McClinton in the country/blues genre. It is Tritt's most impressive track on this album and served as an indication that Tritt would continue to expand the realm of country music with future releases.
This is Travis Tritt's best album.......1998-06-30
This is by far the greatest Travis Tritt album yet. His chord progressions are outstanding, and should allow the album to not be held back under the "country" label. This album allows you to see Travis's rock side. The last song is Stevie Ray Vaugn's "Leave My Girl Alone." Travis definetly outdid himself.

Another great trip down the MFU memory lane.......2005-10-19
Volume 2 (comprised of 2 CDs) is another first rate compilation of the series' original music and not to be missed by U.N.C.L.E. fans. The liner notes are wonderful and add a lot to ones appreciation of the music.
My only problem is that THE CDs ARE COPY PROTECTED! Considerable work is needed to get the music onto your iPod, if you really want the music in your mp3 collection. This is a major hassle and a surprise, since the first set in the series was not copy protected.
The best of the three Double CDs ORIGINAL soundtrack release.......2005-07-12
Many of us have always thought The Man From UNCLE had the best music for a TV series ever, and this three double CD release confirms this. Wow! I'd be just happy with one CD, but having SIX (three double CDs packages) is absolutely out of this world, I mean, a lifetime wait come true.
Indeed, this is an unbelievable collection of three double CDs packages with the complete series soundtrack, and I mean the complete music, not a tune is missing.
And this is the ORIGINAL Man From Uncle music. Let me stress the point: this is the four years ORIGINAL soundtrack with the original recordings as they were heard throughout the series, not a no-name orchestra doing personal versions of the stuff. The audio transfer is very, very good, the music from late episodes is even in stereo.
Each individual CD carries over 70 minutes of music. All in all there you have the four TV seasons main titles and all, absolutely all of TMFU unforgetable music.
This is not a chronological release, meaning, all CDs have a mix of music from all four TV seasons. Volume 1 is heavier on early TV seasons stuff, fans of Jerry Goldsmith will love it. Those of us who prefer what Gerald Fried and later Richard Shores did with TMFU music, then volume 2 is mandatory. If you are a fan, you can't miss any of these six CDs. However if buying all three double packages is too much for you, you must go with Volume 2, no questions asked. Volume three is the weakest of them as it brings "suites" and a whole CD with "The Girl From Uncle" soundtrack, but you have a bonus "Open Channel D" beeper.
Each package is gorgeous, each with a glossy color booklet with extensive liner notes with details on how each tune was written to a specific TV series episode and how it was used onwards. You have bios on the composers, on how the recordings were made, even an overview on how many instruments were available in each of the years the music was recorded.
So, throw away your Hugo Montenegro Man From Uncle CD, this is the REAL thing.

Beauty of the music..........2006-08-10
String quartet versions exelled such beautiful performance! After reviewing Tupac Shakur's original albums, I decided to check out the string quartet. To be honest, Tupac's work shows such strong, beautiful meanings of his life while the string version plays the beauty of many instruments dedicating to Tupac's work and his music. For those who love rap and a side of classical listening, this is one collection you can't pass up to!
