"Struggle" is Jair Dynast's bitter-street personal story of his perseverance to earn an athletic scholarship in basketball only to have his dream shattered with an unforeseen heart condition. "One week after I found out about my condition, I went to my boy Db Osci's house and he played me a song. I was like, 'who's that?' and Db Osci was like, 'it's me!' Jair explained. "That night, I went home and wrote my first verse."

"My lyrics can be complex. I rhyme about reality at its depths." Jair explained. He prides himself on writing descriptive lyrics. "I want to write something that when you listen to it, you can visualize it. I'm here to touch people and say something."

"We are nothing without our community. Our communities can be destructive to youth. People are being fed music that is unreal," he says. Jair believes that today's youth are victims of popular culture: "Kids are products," he says. "We need to let them have a choice."

Jair Dynast is accepting his social responsibility by choosing to contribute a portion of his earnings from CD sales online to help the plight of child laborers worldwide. Jair and his record label, eMultimedia Group, joined forces to make it their mission to embrace "good works" in the community on an annual basis.

Concerned for the plight of the smallest victims of the recent tsunami in South East Asia, Jair and eMultimedia Group have decided to raise money for their rehabilitation and care. We are fearful of the ravages of diseases on these tiny members of our world, the little ones left without parents, without schools and without a safe place to sleep and play.
