First off to the "Music fan" from texas, This is not a crass albem! Its an albem on crass records. Its a compilation of some of the bands that recorded on crass records. Crass isnt even of this record. Anyway. Buy this now

Inteligent Politics.......2000-06-25

Crass has always been able to maintain its status as the most intelligent a-political band yet. Their message is strong enough to convert even the most stubborn to believe other then what they were taught. This particular album has about the same quality of any crass album (terrible) if not worst, but considering the fact that they had no musical talent and mostly revoloved their practices around alcoholic consumption, they did pretty good. Besides, the message makes up for the low quality, and after a while, you really begin to enjoy the songs. I have found myself singing these songs everywhere I go. This album along with any other Crass album is an aquired taste, and not for the narrow minded.

Gunther is amazing.......2005-12-24

Not only is the Ding Dong Song hilarious, it's also extremely re-playable. Usually when a song is funny, it's only funny for a little while, but Gunther's Ding Dong Song is actualy a really good pop/electronic song aside from the incredibly funny lyrics. William Hung failed at being a joke because he wasn't in on it, Gunther is, and he's taking full advantage of the territory he's claimed.

At first I thought Gunther was a joke, and to some extent I still do. There's no denying his talent, though. He manages to mix the beat well in this track and although the lyrics are hilarious, in a smokey club who cares? The lyrics are actually a bonus, in my opinion! Gunther, you definitely put a smile on my face! Thanks for sharing your message of love with the world.

Music that cracks me up........2005-04-25

This song is funny. I like Heavy metal, hard rock, and alternative, but whenever I hear this song, it cracks me up. It all started just yesterday when I got an ipod mini for my birthday. When I went over my cousins house to get some songs from itunes, I heard this song called the ding dong song and the first time I heard it, I cracked me up. I downloaded this song just for kicks, but I kind of like it overall.

Instead of writing a review of this alubm in itself, I will take the liberty of reviewing Gunther himself. This is some real funny stuff. From Teeny Weeny String Bikini to the Ding Dong Song, Gunther is flat out hilarious. I would definitely recommend this music to anyone who wants to laugh really hard. I mean Gunther is a 29 year-old greasy Swedish man with a mullet. How can you not like this guy. I usually listen to metal like Killswitch Engage, Unearth, God Forbid, and stuff like that. But I would see Gunther live any day over those guys. Let me close my review with this: if I were on the verge of death and in the most misery of my life, listening to Gunther would make me laugh for at least five minutes. It's that funny.

A "MACHO MACHO MAN".......2004-12-16

After listening to all 11 tracks from his pleasureman album it clearly shows Gunther sings in the same deep and breathy tone for each of his songs. It's almost as if he's in a constant state of arousal. It's slightly disturbing after a while.

Cool Friendship Song with Great Remixes!.......2000-03-01

A great song about friendship and how someone's belief and concern about you can help you get through the difficulties you face in life. A great gift for that someone whom you cherish a lot and whom you consider to be a loyal and good friend. This single contains the radio edit of the title song and 2 other remixes done by Frankie Knuckles. As a general rule, remixes by Frankie Knuckles are mostly fast up-tempo numbers that enhances the original song. He does not disappoint here. The 2nd track ' Frankie Knuckles Classic Club Mix' is really a great danceable number that not only lift the song up to a really perky pace, but also ups the 'feel-good' factor about the song. One of my current faves at the moment. The 3rd track 'Framkie Kunckles Mambo Sunset Reprise', despite it's lavishly sounding name, is nothing more than a dub version of the second track. With most of the vocals gone, you only hear the background vocals that appeared on the second track. Think of it as the instrumental version of the second track. All in all, a really great single to buy. Not only do you get the slower and mellower original version, but also two great fast danceable numbers. Excellent!

Listeners in America may be unaware of the mighty talent that is London-based British soul star, Gabrielle. She had a top 30 hit with 'Dreams' back in 1993, in the US, but has never really broken into your charts.

'Sunshine' is the first track from her new album, 'Rise', her third LP, and it has her seeing 'the world in an optimistic light', from the very opening lines. It seems something good has happened to Gabrielle and she wants to share it with us all.

good but..........2004-10-01

I love the song Summer Sunshine by The Corrs which is why I bought this CD in the first place. But I was sadly disappointed when I opened it and found only 2 tracks on it. The album version and Garibay Mix. I expected at least 4 mixes but when I researched more closely, I found out the other tracks were included in ANOTHER album, The Summer Sunshine Pt. 2 (Import)and it was cheaper too!! Why would the label companies do this?? I feel ripped off. I mean, the picture of the albums is completely the same. I guess I just need to be extra careful when ordering The Corrs next time since they have TONS of different versions out there. It's very misleading and I hope nobody makes the same mistake as I did.

Get in the heat with summer sunshine!.......2004-06-08

This single is really great and it is Pt.1 of a 2 UK single set. It features the album version of summer sunshine, as well as Fernando Garibay remix. I really like this remix, because it is soft and well produced, very related to corrs stuff.

Summer sunshine is an uptempo track, in spite of the fact that it was meant to be a sad song, about a forbidden love, between two people who will never be free.

I really recommend you get the new corrs album "Borrowed Heaven", as well as Pt.2 of summer sunshine single.
