About the Artist
The Horsemen are considered one of the hottest Hip-Hop groups ever to emerge from the New York City area, Mount Vernon, NY being their hometown. Keith Darrell & Marvis Singleton, better known as K-Duv & Vis capture the hearts and minds at every performance. Theyve already stood side by side, kickin lyrics with Big Pun, Fat Joe and Noriega at New Yorks Club Amazura. They also kept people asking for more at Club Speed and a special performance at The World Wrestling Federations theme restaurant/nightclub in NYC.
The Horsemens concept of music and performance style comes from a variety of personal experiences and creative ability, which afforded the opportunity to orchestrate their unique blend and style. As individuals, The Horsemen are distinctive in their own style and character, which brings about a perfect blend in their music. As individuals The Horsemen are unique in their own way.
The Horsemen have a great chemistry together. Maybe its because they are both Leos. One thing is for sure; they are definitely here to stay.
Make way and clear a path for tomorrows Hip-Hop Thoroughbreds as The Horsemen come to every home. The millennium will never be the same. The Horsemen are the future of Hip-Hop.

Pop musician and film composer Danny Elfman continues his longstanding collaboration with director Tim Burton (Elfman made his movie music debut way back in 1985 on Pee-Wee's Big Adventure) with Sleepy Hollow. For Burton's cinematic take on the ghoulish Washington Irving classic, Johnny Depp stars as Ichabod Crane, while Elfman does his best to create some truly frightful mood music. Needless to say, he succeeds. Dramatic string passages, crashing percussion, and a children's choir all contribute to this eerie movie score that never settles on a singular theme. "Into the Woods" is the disc's creepiest moment, where the sounds of strings, brass, and a choir create a web of suspense. There are no dull moments here; whether driving and powerful ("Introduction") or mysterious and ethereal ("Sweet Dreams"), Elfman's score is--as usual--superb. --Jason Verlinde
Customer Reviews:
Soundtrack Sleepy Hollow.......2007-07-15
Beautiful music from Danny Elfman who created more music for Tim Burton movies. This music is typical for Tim Burton style. It gives you the eerie sound of that fantastic and beautiful fairy tale Sleepy Hollow.
Very Good .......2007-01-16
This soundtrack is very good full with eerie and great music. The reason i gave this 4 stars is because the main theme (which is catchy) is in almost every song, which makes the theme get very annoying. I just wish that the main theme wasnt used in every single song, if it wasnt i would have gave this a 5 star rating. But this is still a very good soundtrack, good job Danny
Danny Elfman does what he does best.......2006-02-03
This is one of my favorite film scores from Danny Elfman, along with Batman, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Edward Scissorhands. It's dark, freaky, and gives you a feel of what 18th Century New England was like. The echoing voices from the choir gives me chills, and the instrumental sounds are frightening. All in all, I give this score an A- slightly because of the track "Evil Eye," which sounds a bit tedious to me.
Classic Elfman.......2005-11-22
Danny Elfman is a role model to me, just like Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. His music can perfectly describe the movie that it is in and every scene of it. I never really noticed this one, but it is really good. I wish I had seen the movie. This is a great addition to any Danny Elfman collection.
Holy Jumpin Jimmin Cricket!.......2005-06-23
It's been a long time since I have seen sleepy Hollow, but this score has every part of the movie. Truelly wonderful.

Customer Reviews:
Great compilation.......2007-02-07
I though I owned all the Halloween music to be found. But this one has some new ones and old ones done differently. I highly recommend it.
Good memories spoilt.......2006-12-27
The title of the CD is "Scary" but don't be fooled. The only thing frightening is that someone might be suckered by the reputation of the conductor and some fond childhood memories into spending good money for this crud.
While there are a couple of admirable tributes to classic horror theme songs, the cheesy vocals on Addams Family, Ghostbusters, Monster Mash, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Beware of the Blob and Thriller relegate this disc to the trash bin.
Instead of this, I'd recommend Nosferatu (James Bernard), Chiller (Cincinnati Pops), Fantastic Journey (Cincinnati Pops, also - more SciFi than horror, though) and Classics From the Crypt (RCA Victor). All available here.
Superbly Bizarre.......2005-03-03
All I can say is wow- kitschy and delightful in a way. Though the "Thriller" is disturbing. But how can you deny the "Killer Tomatoes"? I mean, how can you??

Customer Reviews:
Another good one!!.......2001-07-29
"Sleepy Hollow" was Siegel-Schwall's second effort for their new label, "Wooden Nickel Records" Released in 1972, it broke new ground with hits "Hey Billie Jean" and "Something's Wrong". Check out the harp workout Corky gives to "Billie Jean", then listen to the greased lightning fretwork Jim puts into "Something's Wrong"....whew!! How do dey do dat?? "You Don't Love Me Like That" is a blues boogie like you always wanted to hear, footstompin' music and awesome slide guitar. Rollo Radford, bass player extraordinaire, gets a tune here too, with an original called "I Wanna Love Ya" and appropriately, it opens the record setting the tone for what's to come. He has a very tuneful and powerful voice, and it's always a treat to hear Rollo belt one out. Jim's "Blues For A Lady" is the longest cut, and also the quietest...it's a slow blues and tells a story of love for his then wife Cherie, in Jim's own special way. And Jim even visits country music with his hilarious "Sick To My Stomach" in which he sings about the gastric distress he experiences whenever he thinks of his girl being with another man.
This is satisfying music, all the way through, as only Siegel-Schwall can play it.

Album Description
GOIN' OVER shows a heavier side of Sleepy Hollow than their debut EP, more focused on thick organ sounds and drop-tuned guitars. Still, the band continues to be rooted in classic hard rock, metal, and prog more than the modern sound - although they make good use on this album of nu-metal, modern power metal (a la Iced Earth), and even a touch of death metal vocals. Their style of progressive hard rock owes more to the meaty sophistication of bands like Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, and Iron Maiden than the extravagant virtuosity of the modern progressive metal scene.
The first half of the album is dedicated to the 20-minute title piece, portraying a young man's descent through increasingly dangerous drugs with different styles of music reflecting the various drugs. (The segments are tracked separately, and stand alone as individual, shorter songs.) Beginning with a Renaissance-inflected acoustic section, with 3 flutes entering at different times, the song then goes into a nice classic metal section. This is followed by a strong funky groove propelled by Frank's wonderful drumming (a strong point of the album throughout) and Joe's organ bass, underneath a funky wah guitar riff and some filthy vocals that take no time for breath. A heavy speed metal segment leads to an excellent foray into nu-metal (with a nod to King Crimson in the bridge). This gives way to a very heavy metal section, which then transforms (retaining the same chord changes) into a mellow section with clean guitar and harmony vocals that brings to mind Pink Floyd. A soaring guitar solo leads to a march, and the opening theme is recapped on harp to end the piece. The overall effect should please both those seeking ambitious music and those who wish to rock out without making an effort.
The remaining half of the album is made up of 5 songs of more traditional length. "Pay the Price" is an aggressive, driving hard rocker. "Under the Ground" is a heavy dirge about being buried alive that still manages to groove. The combination of one of the heaviest organ sound in rock with ethereal keyboard "ahs" and death metal vocals in the chorus make this track a perfect synthesis of influences from the whole history of metal. "90's Child", on the other hand, isn't metal at all, but a catchy pop rock ode to Generation Whine that reminds one of Jethro Tull's "Teacher". "Mare Crastinum" starts out quiet, with a vocal reminiscent of Geoff Tate and some excellent poetic lyrics, then builds up into a powerful heavy metal tsunami. The classically-influenced instrumental section, with all four musicians swirling around each other, shows how great a skilled band can sound when everyone's working together rather than trying to steal the show individually. The album closes on a lighter note with "Rock Hard", a radio friendly classic rock anthem with all four singers trading vocals.
Customer Reviews:
Even better than the first CD!!!!.......2004-09-18
I thought Sleepy Hollow's first CD was great, this was even better! I especially love how the first set of songs make up a story and then there are several individual songs after them, and they are great too. Also, again all the songs sound different and all the members sing lead on different songs. I recommend that people buy this CD in addition to their EP.
