Product Description
Mr. Sche grew up on the Memphis scene listening to acts such as Three Six Mafia and DJ Squeaky. He had a close relationship with DJ Paul of Three Six Mafia, with whom he recorded a 7 song EP. Determined and frustrated by poverty, Sche went on a mission to get his own studio, conscious that having his own equipment would ensure him a better future in the music industry.
Gang violence, drugs, domestic disputes among his parents, and the streets were a big issue in his late teen years. "My girlfriend, whom is my wife today, saved my life", he says. He ran the streets without fear of his own life and without respect for another’s, before he got his first single on the well known local radio station here in Memphis called MAGIC 101 IN 1996. He was in jail at the time, age 18, tried for his first offence.
Released a short time after, Sche immediately changed his ways. The birth of his new son, the exposure of his music, and his first record deal that released his first well known nationwide album, The Darker Things In Life Chp 1, set his path into the music industry. Sche has released several albums since ‘96 and has worked with several major artists and labels. He now owns and manages his own recording studio and has several distribution deals.
He is also working on soundtracks for several movie directors including JOHN SINGLETON and TRAE MONEY BAGGS. He is also featured in the movies HUSTLE & FLOW and PIMPIN AIN’T DEAD.
