Things to Come was a group from Wheaton ,Illinois composed of Ken Utterbach , Richard Cureton , Cliff Harrison and Thomas K. Mirabile the names of the mucisians were changed to make them sound more British. The cuts Im Not Talking and Till the End were one of three songs recorded by the group at Sound Studios in Chicago in 1967. The group broke up shortly after the release of The singles I'm Not Talking, and Till the End

    Sitting somewhere between Tanya Donnelly and Holly Golightly, this album moves Miss Mary past a fun retro act to a full on rock star. Each song shows the kind of careful attention that usually only comes with a million dollar budget or OCD. This album is like carrot cake. It's probably good for you, but you won't care because it's SO SWEET!

    If you like to rock out in the car, this album works great for that! Fuzzed-out rock guitars, pop synth, and catchy lady vocals that have just enough 'tude without being cooler than you. For those who have heard Miss Mary's more bubbly pop album 'Hey Blue!,' Ready 2 Pop has much more of a rock sound, but still with all the niceties of Mary's voice and style. stay away from 'used' copies that are being sold because they were mailed to college radio and have obviously been lifted so someone can make a buck!

    I was buying Love Angel Music Baby by Gwen Stefani and saw that a bunch of people recommended this CD too. I have never heard of Miss Mary, but I took a chance. I am sooo pysched that I bought this album. It is way cool. Its definitely become one of my new favorite CD's. I cannot stop playing it. Miss Mary rocks!

    I am a huge fan of catchy melodic girl rock/pop and Miss Mary's Ready 2 Pop is fantastic. If you enjoy this album then I strongly recommend that you check out the following:

    I read the other review and totally disagree this cd is great and a must have. The stenght of his voice is fantasic. The rendition of the songs are different than the 45s but if you want to hear the songs that way there are other great albums. This is live baby with heart and soul!
