brilliant lyrics with mindblowing music, this is probably one of the most important cds in my collection. from begining to the end, past futuristic is a mind trip. after listening to this group you will get sick to your stomache listening to any of this "mtv hip-hop" crap. past futuristic keeps it real and then leaves you wanting more. think old roots meets old school backpack, poet rappers that actually have something important to tell you. these dudes are great story tellers, not just another cd for some white kid to blast in their car trying to look cool "pimpin' it" down his upper middle class nieghborhood, this aint it. this cd takes you places, makes you feel good and takes you back to memory road where it touches your heart like almost no other hip hop cd can. so enjoy.
