About the Artist
Amir N.,now only 21, grew up in Masachusetts, and though this is his first release, he has atleast nine unreleased, full-length albums spanning back to when he was 13 or 14. From dropping out of school to working one bad job after another, he always knew what he wanted to do. His Album introduces you to some issues he has dealt with in the past, and if you had heard earlier recordings, would have seen where they stemmed from. A love song turned to one of heart break, songs of friends turned into a loss of faith in people, etc. At twenty, Amir decided to try to steer clear of the things that were clearly not helping him, from losing contact with bad influences to numerous attempts at cutting down on intoxication due to numerous court cases, depression and strains it placed on relationships. Now attending Charlestowns Bunkerhill Community College and of course laying down countless tracks, Amir is attempting to get things together. With hius first son on the way, he feels he cn not afford to have things continue to go as they had been. As he says, "I'm not perfect, but atleast I'm trying." And with all of the talent he possesses, chances are, things will be getting much better.

Product Description
This is a sample-free, true to life album originating from the experiences of Amir N.of Brookline, MA, a town just out of Boston(with the exeption of track #9:'Watching You'). This self produced, written and performed album combines strong, thematic, soundtrack-like instramentals with insiteful, original, poetic hip-hop which avoids the 'gangsta' cliches and 'how-much-money-I-got' BS typical of todays urban music. Dealing with issues of love, friendships (good & bad, drug-use/abuse, trying to avoid jail (due to co-label mate Cylence's current incarceration), currupt governing and more, this is definately a varied, yet well fitting album, which definately has something for everyone. Thug or not. Rich or poor. Sober or far from. Amir N. has a way of making you feel just what he felt when he made each song, not just hear what he's saying.
