Album Description

Any fan of true art knows that an artist is most alive when he is on stage. Tupac Live At The House of Blues is Tupac's final recorded performance—eternalized on July 4, 1996 at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip—and a celebration of his vital musical genius. One of the most respected aspects of Tupac's grand personality was his absolute sincerity, and Tupac Live... stays true to that legacy: it is a completely honest performance sans censors and retakes. The performance, the energy and the artistry speak for themselves and further present Tupac as one of the most brilliant entertainers in the history of popular music and a master craftsman of the stage. Tupac Live is a fitting coda to Tupac's legacy of brilliant performance before he moved on to immortality.

5 out of 5 stars Pac was the realest and still is!! Outlaw thug immortal 4life!!.......2007-04-05

I love pacs Energy!! Plus the outlawz on stage is just great!! The only soulja missing is the realest of all the outlawz after Pac "Hussain Fatal" But is Ok. I highly recommend this 1 to all Pac fans across the World. R.i.p Makaveli Da Don

5 out of 5 stars I didn't think this would be great but it is.......2005-10-08

Most rap live is bad. This album isn't bad. The reason I gave it five stars though is because it is the COMPLETE performance unlike so many altered versions of other concerts. There is no editing and you hear Tupac critize Biggie so that was interesting to hear. Overall very good.

3 out of 5 stars Good CD but DVD is much better.......2005-10-05

I would give this CD a 5 star but just to hear Pac and not see him in concert is a tease.
Invest in the DVD or get both like I did

5 out of 5 stars Makaveli Lives On..........2005-10-05

What??? Any review yet? Damn, this is Tupac at his best. This is a truthful testimony of the man who mean Hip Hop. All caps intended. Buy this as soon as you can and remember to buy the DVD too! This is Tupac and Death Row at his best. At last a good piece of work by Death Row Records, not that piece of trash by the name of The Rose. This is the real 2Pac. M.I.A. Tupac Shakur... Product Description

One of the hottest DJ's in the "Chopped & Screwed" game, Paul Wall does the damn thang again on this dope little gem of a mixtape! There's nothing but the very best of the great Biggie Smallz on this mix, loaded with everything you could ever possibly want from a chopped & screwed B.I.G. collection. You know that if you see the Swishahouse seal of approval, then you are dealing with a REAL chopped & screwed mixtape, not some of the garbage that amateur DJ's are releasing these days. Those of you familiar with the Rap Phenomenon mixtape series will recognize these remixes & blends, but they have never been heard in Chopped & Screwed form before! Fans of Biggie can't afford to miss out on this one, and with only 10,000 official copies manufactured, if you hesitate it may be too late! [50 Tracks]

1 out of 5 stars Nothing More Than A Bootleg Of Poor Quality.......2006-10-03

My feelings are very mixed on the live performance by 2Pac. But in the end, I feel it is a CD that should be avoided unless you absolutely need everything issued under 2Pac's name.

The sound quality is terrible; it would not rate well if being issued as a bootleg. The CD starts off with a Live Medley, but drops in about the middle of California Love. Even the most idiotic bootlegger would not make such a mistake.

If you decide to continue listening, it is probably because there is a dearth of live material by 2Pac that has found its way to CD. But because of that, why would something of such poor quality be the best for a commercial release?

And at the end of the 40 or so minutes, it becomes obvious...Suge Knight was trying one more time to cash in on 2Pac's legacy before his label became totally insignificant.

The CD does not have the Amaru logo on it, meaning that Afeni Shakur did not approve the release. But Knight's name is written in bold letters anywhere it can fit.

After taking it all in, Knight should have done 2Pac's fans a favor and just made an appeal for donations on the Internet.

1 out of 5 stars Poor quality, only for Tupac completists.......2006-01-11

I don't really know what this live album is supposed to accomplish, but I believe it has failed on all accounts. I enjoy having a live Tupac document, but the replay value is almost nil, as the sound quality is terrible.

All in all, I was fairly disappointed with this release.

    1 out of 5 stars Bootleg Garbage.......2006-01-05

Do not buy this album. It is trash. If you want a 2pac live album buy Live at the House of Blues. Both albums are from the same concert, however this one (suge knight/deathrow's version) is horrible, and i mean horrible, quality. It is an audience recorded bootleg. Meaning someone was in the audience with a tape recorder and recorded the concert, and deathrow put it on a cd and tried to sell it as a live album. Live at H.O.B. however is the same concert, except much, much better quality. The recordings actually came from the front of house mixboard for that album.

5 out of 5 stars Gotta Love Pac.......2005-08-02

2pac is the best rapper....best musician of all time. This disc shoes how hw was in a live performance. The best track is the live performance of "Hit Em' Up".

    5 out of 5 stars 2pac live and uncut.......2005-07-15

Good live cd from Tupac Shakur, released by Deathrow. Tupac sounds good live has some classics like "California Love", "Hit Em Up", "Abitionz Az A Ridah" and thats just a couple. If you are like me and like collecting pac cds then get this one. RIP 2pac (makaveli) Shakur, thug 4 life.
