A pretty good album by Afu-Ra. Not my favorite by him but still good. Good beats and lyrics. Has a grimey feel to it, its his style. He has one of the illest flows on the beat. Check this album out for sure. Dont back out, check his shiz out.

What is a Perverted Monk? As explained by the group it is a regular person trying to live righteously while succumbing to lifes temptations. These temptations happen to be the predominant theme of the cd. From the beginning single "bactadacrib" to the fin`ale "freak" we are taken into a world of wanton lust which forces the monk in us to come face to face with these issues. Laced with diverse lyrical styles from the laid back fluid flow of the aqua monk Ca-See, to the fiery sun god A-sun, to the whirlwind lyrics from Afu-ra finally to the gruff street savvy Respect who is equivalent to a hip hop Teddy Pendergrass. Backed on production by an equally diverse array of beats, this album has something for everyone including the streets, the commercial, and the eclectic.
The enhanced portion could've been better just a few interviews and a video doesn't satisfy the curiosity of those who want to know the inner mind of a pervereted monk, but all in all this is a good solid buy...
