Product Description

Lynching is a word synonymous with murder. Staten Island s NYOIL, tired of seeing the metaphorical death in the eyes of shorties around his block, decided to fight back by spittin truth. Voicing his frustrations through his edutainment style of MCing brought forth the October 2006 release of NYOIL s (pronounced N.Y. Oil) self-produced single Ya ll Should All Get Lynched.

Album Description

This album features the song "You Should All Get Lynched," which is being featured in a new show on BET.

5 out of 5 stars Real hiphop in the making!.......2007-07-09

This dude just made history, nobody has ever made it like he has! the knowledge this man has is incredible, the production is deep and serious! it was about that time, we got a artist like NYOIL. if you want real hiphop, this is what you should get. its on point, its real, its intellectual stimulating, i dont know what to say. if people spread the word about this emcee, it will change the game forever! there's no doubt in my mind! this is the future! NYOIL is the future!

Go buy this album, if you enjoy real hiphop, and dont own this masterpiece. you're sleeping on a classic! 5 out of 5!

5 out of 5 stars Love it!.......2007-07-05

It's about time we hear the truth about all the negative images many rappers have shown the world about blacks causing us all to be stereotyped. I'm glad NYOIL made the song You're a Queen hailing the sisters. I hope this album gets as much publicity as it deserves. I look forward to buying future albums by NYOIL.

4 out of 5 stars Real Hip Hop.......2007-06-20

If you want a real hip hop album without someone talking about their rims, their guns, their hoes, and the amount of money they have then pick this album up. This album is a witty, deep, conscious album. I agree with his sentiments especially on the banger cut "Y'all should all get lynched". We have far too many rappers out their selling out their souls and this art form we call hip hop for money. This man seems to have integrity and a natural love for the music and his people.

5 out of 5 stars Don't sleep on this one!.......2007-06-11

For those who remember real hip hop at its finest, this joint is a true gem. It focuses on how hip hop itself is no longer treated as an art form. Most rappers have gotten very lazy with their delivery and NYOIL lets them know that. For those who don't know who Nyoil is, then google "Y'all Should all Get Lynched." He is the emcee who sparked contraversy for this video on You Tube. It was banned for its explict content of how history has portrayed African Americans, and has images of lynchings. But enough about the video, lets focus on the cd.

In the album, he has made some very good points on what's going on in the Black neighborhoods, and expresses that people should be accountable for their actions. He tackles the issue of selling drugs, and grapples with the mistreatment of Black Women (see"You're a Queen in the track listing). The cd shows that he is not only versatile in his flows, but he is also versatile in the choice of beats. Check out Purrrrfect beat, a smooth R&B track with a laid back type of flow with a catchy chours sung by Jeanine Wright. Then check out Hood TREASON,which has a quick bouncy almost rock like feel to it. This song made me want to grab something heavy, find a wack emcee and throw it at them, lol! Self Destrukkktion has a spacey beat to it with a clear message to offset it. It was definitely an earful and an eye opener. He also sneaks "A quick 16" on you, which is a spoken word piece. Here he flexes his poetic abilities to not only send a message to the audience, but he was also able to make them laugh in the process. There are a few spoken interludes mixed in, but unlike soooo many rap cd's these days, they don't detract from the whole album. The interludes were used as tools to prepare your mind to be introduced to the next song. They work seamlessly, and I felt like they helped contribute to the overall Nyoil experience.
For those who like real hip hop, go get the cd, or visit Nyoil's website (...) to get more info on who he is, and to listen to some of his tracks.

This cd is definitely a long awaited debut for not only myself, but for those who also felt that hip hop was truly dead. This cd is living proof that hip hop is still alive and kicking it. It's just that people are looking in the wrong places to find real hip hop. If artists like Nyoil continue to flourish with the help of their fans, then the average joe/jane will have no trouble finding real hip hop. After listening to this cd, I realized something:
Gill Scott Heron (RIP) was right. The Revolution Will Not be Telivised.

5 out of 5 stars Hip Hop is Alive!.......2007-05-25

From start to finish, this album is on point. The interludes remind me of PE, BDP, X-Clan...spit'n knowledge. Time is out for the Shuck'n and Jive'n. NYOIL keep gang'n

On the follow-up to I Got That Work, Cash Money Millionaires refugees Brian "Baby" Williams and Mannie Fresh put their mediocre rhyme talents to work, paying tribute to all the boyz in the hood who can still rock "gator boots with the pimped out Gucci suits" despite being poor ("Still Fly"). Huh? Cash Money's in-house producer, Fresh cooks up his usual supply of 808 drum-kick-heavy beats on "Hello" and "Oh Yeah" that sound as though they couldn't have taken more than a few minutes to hook up. But he's no sucker emcee or producer, and when he's at his best he's able to seamlessly fuse snappy techno beats with Parliament-style funk ("Get High"), which effectively sounds like something Outkast could have guested on. Sadly, the underwhelming rhymes on tracks like "Pimpin' Baby" (which finds the duo dully listing off their many high-cost accessories) nullifies Fresh's highly danceable rhythm constructions. When popular Southern DJ Greg Street's interlude promoting a Viagra-sponsored "I Can Still Get It Up Tour" contest is the album's high point, it's time to go back to the lab. --Dalton Higgins

3 out of 5 stars Ghetto Millionaires.......2007-02-12

Cash Money Millionaires Baby (Birdman) and Mannie Fresh collectively known as Big Tymers release Hood Rich, brings everyday life to the ghetto. "Slick Talkin' (Intro)" contains the stunnin verbal gems from Baby himself. Using the sample in title "Oh Yeah!" to confirm the verses featuring Tateeze, Boo & Gotti, this song is the perfect lead-off song for the album as the attempt to bridge ghetto life and the mainstream. "...I fly in any weather..." was the concept of "Still Fly" as the show how even without money they still can shine. This highlight was just as the title states, fly. While the majority of the album was produced by member Mannie Fresh, Jazze Pha provided "Sunny Day" with a soulful, southern feel with organ chords and guitar licks with a blues twist featuring T.Q., Gotti & Mikkey. "The Preppy Pimp" is an interlude with a sexy slow grind accompanied with horns that complimented the feel of this LP. Baby said it best to open the song with his verse with "...f**k being the prince, I'm the King of the South..." on "#1" as Baby flies solo on this one. "I'm Comin'" featuring Mikkey, Gilly, Jazze Pha & T.Q. aided the Tymers over a Jazze Pha produced track as they all showed what they were working with. Baby took the background on "Gimme Some" as Mannie Fresh, T.Q. and Barewolf tried to get with the ladies over a R&B, mainstream groove. "Big" was tailored for the group as they tag teamed over the track without any hook only seperated by a breakdown. Laced with a horn selection, "Get High" featuring Jazze Pha showcased Mannie's bubbly style with a fun approach. As we know how Cash Money brought shining and stunnin' to the game, the Big Tymers showed what it derived from with "Pimpin'" and "Put That S**t Up" featuring Lac, Stone & Mikkey. "Da Man" featuring Trick Daddy is an upliftment out of the gutter lifestyle as they show how they had to struggle to get to this position as the conclusion of the album is aimed for upliftment. This album has a lot of hit and misses, but the strength of the LP lies in the first half and gradually slows down to a hault. If you are a Big Tymers and or a Cash Money fan Big Money Heavyweight is the album to have by them.

2 out of 5 stars One star for each of the songs worth listening to on this album.......2006-09-16

Songs "Oh Yeah!" & "Still Fly" are definitely the stand-outs having both been in heavy rotation on MTV back in 2002 when they first came out.

A bit confused as to why they allowed an Atlanta Dj (Greg Street) to do a few skits and then name them all after him... "Greg Street Countdown," "Greg Street Stuntin," "Greg Street Radio." Who's cd is this anyway? The Dj's name is on it more than the artists themselves.

Other than the two singles mentioned earlier, the remainder of this cd is filler.

3 out of 5 stars Pretty good album from the Big Tymers.......2006-07-12

The Big Tymers third album "Hood Rich" is more of the same from the duo. I'm a fan of very lyrical hip hop, but I admit that I have always had a soft spot for the Cash Money Millionaires and have enjoyed a lot of their music. Birdman and Mannie Fresh found themselves on the top of southern hip hop at the time of this release in 2002 after scoring hits for fellow Cash Money artists Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and BG, in addition to their previous albums "How You Love That?" and "I Got That Work". On "Hood Rich", they make more of the New Orleans bounce that made them famous. Mannie Fresh, a very capable producer, sticks to his horn fanfares, catchy hooks, and cool instrumentals. Lyricism is of course not the Big Tymers strength, so don't be expecting a Nas or AZ album in "Hood Rich". The biggest problem with the album is the absence of The Hot Boys. On the previous Big Tymers albums, the Hot Boys handled about half the rapping, overshadowing Baby and Mannie's modest mic skills. Lil Wayne, BG, Turk, and Juve never show up, instead replaced by a group of unknown guests including Gotti, Tateeze, Boo, and Mikkey. These guys are no Hot Boys and leave a lot to the Big Tymers. "Hood Rich" is still a pretty entertaining album that I'm sure many will like.

The opener "Oh Yeah" isn't too exciting, the beat a little uninspired, just like the verses, it's kind of tiresome. The album's obvious highlight is "Still Fly", one of Cash Money's crown jewels and probably the Big Tymers' greatest track to date. It's a classic horn fanfare, with a great hook sang by Mannie, it's a classic song that I absolutely love. The entire album basically stays afloat with this song. "Sunny Day" is one of the best here, with a happy sounding beat and a great appearance from the very talented crooner TQ. "Hello" is pretty funny, I like the funky beat. "#1" is a nice song, it sounds like the original Big Tymers we all know and love. "I'm Comin'" has a nice beat and hook, lyrics dealing with women, money, and cars, like Cash Money does. "Gimme Some" has a great, breezy beat, and TQ adds a great appearance. "Big" is entertaining as Cash Money tracks so often are but is tiresome by the end. "Get High" is excellent, nice beat and just a nice smokin' song. "Pimpin'" is too familiar. "Da Man" is quite good, but the rest of the songs toward the end are a little more forgettable.

"Hood Rich" is not bad, and fans of Cash Money like myself will most likely enjoy it. New fans should certainly check out earlier Big Tymers releases, and fans new to the style should purchase Juvenile's "400 Degreez". Big Tymers have obviously proven to be more capable than this album, but overall it is pretty enjoyable.

3 out of 5 stars Ok.......2005-12-08

But really not a classic, of course it has standout songs but it is just another album

2 out of 5 stars some songs are good but this isnt real rap (2.5 stars).......2005-02-19

some songs are pretty good like "Still Fly" "Oh Yeah" and "Da Man" but really this isnt real rap. All they talk about is money and cars. real rap talks about things like their life and guns and the hood. this doesnt talk about that stuff. I mean, its okay to have two or three songs talking about how good u are but NOT the whole album. It's real ANNOYING.
another thing is Mannie Fresh is MUCH better and entertaining than Baby. why does baby get so much credit and fresh gets like none.
but back 2 subject. i will definatly not get another Cash Money albums.

if u want some real rap check out some Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit albums (Eminem, Dr.Dre, 50 Cent, etc.). Also check out Wu Tang Clan and some old Ludacris.

Album Description

This album is the work of a Gangster: not just any gangster mind you, but an unliving, unstoppable, undying power that keeps the very center of his time piece ticking. As seconds, minutes, hours, and days fly by, time remains still for Blaze. A victim of gang violent, turned rotted corpse with his mind on avenging his own death through total annihilation of those who had a hand in robbing him of his once mortal life. His rage and anger echoes from the speakers like a blast of a sawed-off shotgun at close range leaving all who hear it riddled with shell shock. Physicians and scientists alike are baffled at the very idea of this walking, animated dead man, and although there is no information to back it up, officials believe that the center of his re-animation is brough about by the blood-soaked and bullet-vented clock he was buried with. His recordings have also been somewhat of a mystery as well, drying up in record stores across the nation, and becoming completely out of print unitl now with the release of this essential collection of Blaze's early years in musical madness. Join the Dead Man himself as we turn back the hands of the clock and take a closer look through time at how the legacy of this immortal G all began.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Blaze.......2007-02-25

There's no possible way I could ever give this album any less than 5 stars. "1 Less G In Da Hood" was practically the soundtrack to my senior year of high school. I remember seeing Blaze live at the "Hatchet Rising Tour." All of these memories are amongst some of the greatest I've ever had. Now onto the music! The album begins with the same intro to Blaze's first EP and contains every song off of the EP minus "S*** Talkers." I used to have that EP so I knew most of the jams anyways. Blaze's voice in unmatchable. If you're into gangsta rap, this is some of the finest you can find. Now onto "1 Less G...." The original version had Jumpsteady as a preacher talking about how great it was that Blaze has died, yada-yada-yada, that's not on here. Instead it kicks straight into "Grave Aint No Place." I was glad to hear that ABK's verse was still here. I know there have been some problems with ABK and Psychopathic, so it's good to hear that they didn't delete them or anything. The only songs missing from "1 Less G..." on this version are the intro, "Str8 Outta Detriot" (an ode to NWA's "Straight Outta Compton"), and "Hatchet Execution". Why they didn't include those tracks is beyond me. I really wish they would have considering the fact that the original version of this album is so hard to find and mine is all scratched up. Next you get 3 new tracks, which are all great. All in all, this is a great release if you no longer own Blaze's first two cds or if you're like me and were unable to take care of the originals. I just wish they wouldn't have taken out any tracks. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars Juggalos--BUY THIS........2007-01-25

Okay, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, also known as Colton Grundy, The Undying. Blaze jumped on Psychopathic as a friend of Twiztid, bringing with him longtime homie ABK as well. From the beginning, most juggalos were at a loss as how much we liked Blaze. There were about 50% that hated him, and another 50% that thought he was fresh. The main thing about Blaze is that his style is not really horrorcore rap in any traditional sense--more like old-school Gangsta rap with a horrorcore twist (the twist being that he presents himself as a man gunned down in a gang shooting 11 years prior, and is now back to his old evil ways, but as an undead, immortal).
If you ask me, that's pretty damn original. That, and the fact that this guy can flow like the river runs, is enough to make me a Blaze juggalo.
But one thing you have to know is that pretty much every song on the album has either the same, or similar, lyrics. But that is THE POINT. Understand that, or you won't like Blaze.
This album is the original Blaze debut EP and his first LP combined, with some of the more pointless tracks removed, and three very fresh new ones added. There are too many tracks on this album to review every one, but the highlights are "Real G S***", "I Go To Work", "Grave Ain't No Place", "Casket", "Juggalo Anthem (AWESOME track)", "Nasty (Hilarious, and very disgusting)", "Hood Rats", "Maggot Face", "Momma I Ain't Changed", and "Garbage". Any juggalo that passed on buying the original EP and LP while they were still in print should pick this up.

5 out of 5 stars Rereleased From the Casket.......2006-07-01

Blaze Ya Dead Homie is dead. If you ain't figured that out, he's a thug who was gunned down 11 years back and now has been resurrected to run with the Hatchet.

For y'all who can't stand that type of creativity, then just do what the title of Shaggy 2 Dope's LP says. For y'all juggalos who can feel this, it's a classic. Basically the original 1 Less G in the Hood, along with the self titled EP, are like impossible to find. They're sold on EBay for like 100 bucks a pop.

So it was only right that Blaze rerelease them as one album. The early Blaze classics are all here (except for a couple). "Casket", "Nasty", "Grave Ain't No Place", and "Juggalo Anthem" are all on here along with other cuts and 3 new songs.

The three new ones are "Look Out"(featuring Lavel), "Mama I Ain't Changed", and "Garbage". The last one is far from its title and is actually pretty fresh. "Look Out" was featured in the video game 25 TO LIFE and "Mama I Ain't Changed" is about Blaze's relationship with his moms. The only thing I wished they could have done different on this album is put Blaze's version of "Dead Body Man" on here. I ain't seen it on any CD's yet and it'd be fresh if it could be.

Other then that though, this was another fresh release from Psychopathic Records and everyone's favorite dead homie, Blaze.

Product Description

KMD (Kausing Much Damage, or a positive Kause in a Much Damaged society) was a Hip Hop group in the early 90s perhaps best known for launching the career of acclaimed MC/Producer MF Doom (known during his KMD tenure as Zev Love X). After guesting on 3rd Bass’ “The Gas Face,” the trio (Zev, brother Subroc, and Onyx) released the acclaimed and overlooked “Mr. Hood” full-length. Their political outlook was similar to the group Brand Nubian, who guested on Hood; however, the style was more comical and included a great deal of clips from old children’s recordings, mostly notably a sample of the Seaseme Street character Bert on the single “Who Me?” This is the official Elektra Records/Traffic Entertainment Group re-release with original artwork and track listing in it’s entirety. Cutting edge, ahead of it’s time production and skits from KMD and Stimulated Dummies (John Gamble and Mr. Dante Ross). Features the singles “Peachfuzz”, “Who Me?” and “Nitty Gritty” (feat. Brand Nubian). This is one Rap album that is not to be missed.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars MF Doom Back In 1991 (4.5 Stars).......2006-11-07

For many new MF Doom fans, it's real hard to believe that he rhymed under the name Zev Love X, in a group called K.M.D. that also consisted of his brother DJ Subroc, and Onyx The Birthstone Kid (aka Rodan). In 1991, they dropped their first album Mr. Hood, with the single "Peachfuzz" which became a well known hit. The album itself is mostly based on a fictional character named Mr. Hood, who's voice is pasted together by instructional tapes (or so I heard). Some of the skits that feature Mr. Hood are quite entertaining, such as "Mr. Hood Meets Onyx", and "Mr. Hood Gets A Haircut".

Production wise is unique and creative. The sampling is also what makes this album great. Most of the samples are from televison shows such as Seseme Street for songs like "Humrush" and "Who Me?". The latter song would have a music video as a paroody of Seaseme Street. Lyrically, this trio had a lot. Zev Love X would take control of most of the vocals, and show off in songs like "Peachfuzz" and "Figure Of Speech". He would also imitate a preacher inside of a church in the track "Preacher Porkchop", and somehow Mr. Hood attends. The other two members would show off their skills on a few solo cuts also. Subroc would do his thing in "Subroc's Mission", and Onyx would handle the track "Boogie Man". There are not many guest appearances on this album. Only the group Brand Nubian would join for the song "Nitty Gritty" which works out well.

Overall, a great album by this trio, that became a big hit back in '91. This is one album that you will enjoy again, if you like creativity. I recommend this if you want to hear MF Doom back in his younger years, or if you enjoyed early 90's rap. Unfortunately Electra Records let this one go out of print, and didn't think to ever reissue it, up until a couple of months ago with the help of Traffic Ent (thank you very much for doing that!!). So at this price, I recommend that you snatch this one up as soon as possible. Unfortunately this group would face major setbacks when it came to their next album "Bl_ck B_st_rds"... (hey that might get reissued also [crosses fingers]).

The world according to Atlanta-based DJ Lil Jon and his merry band of Eastside Boyz is one of sexually charged dance floors, masculine aggression, and 'nuff bass frequency. Bringing more heat than the cover's burning Confederate flag, the rowdy repetition and call and response on Lil Jon's Put Yo Hood Up are simple yet contagious. Like most southern DJs, Jon isn't much for rapping, but there are plenty of guests to handle mic duty: Too $hort, Ludacris, Kilo Ali, Goodie Mob's Khujo, Three 6 Mafia, and, interestingly, Brooklyn's own M.O.P. What Jon and the boyz do know are bounce-driven catchphrases--"Who U Wit," "Where Dem Girls At," "Bounce Dat" ("Bounce to the beat while you touch your feet!")--that would wear out most aerobics instructors. But with stripper anthems like "Nasty Girl" and "Live at the Blue Flame," the boyz are fixin' to work up a sweat in a whole new way. --'EL Juba

5 out of 5 stars Better when you are wasted.......2006-12-16

this music is terrible if you're in a sober state of mind but once you start drinking its great party music. lil jon and the eastside boys are kinda of like a drunken male cheer leading squad

1 out of 5 stars You eatin off hip hop and I hope you choke onthe gimmick!!!!!!!!.......2006-07-25

When are we gonna start boycotting this bubble gum pop bull S%%T! Lil john is one of the worst emtertainers on this earth. His flow is rough and terrible and he wastes beats on a regular basis. I guess all of the zombies and sheep won't appreciate me dissing this retarded muppet but someone has to stand up and say something. This album is a just like a vicious string of herpes infecting the youth of many nations. We need some hip hop penicillin like KRS ONE, Mos Def, and kweli

5 out of 5 stars Great Album.......2005-10-28

This album is a great start for BME Enterprises/TVT Records. Like all Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz albums, this one is filled with many guest appearances. Khujo of the Goodie Mob, Bo Hagon, Ludacris, Too $hort (underrated), Chyna Whyte, Big Kap, Quint Black & the Nation Riders, Three 6 Mafia, YoungBloodZ, Gangsta Boo, Don Yute, M.O.P., 8-Ball, MJG, Oobie, Sky, Kilo Ali, & Jazze Pha. This means a good album.
Here's a track by track run-down.

1)Yall Ain't Ready (intro) - (n/a) - Nothin too special.

2)Uhh Ohh (featuring Khujo of the Goodie Mob & Bo Hagon) - (10/10) - Good track to start off the album. It has a good beat and hook by Bo Hagon. Everyone drops good verses and I'm not dissapointed.

3)Put Yo Hood Up - (9/10) - Everyone's heard it. It's got a great beat and hook. The only problem is there's no rapping on this song.

4)Bia Bia - (11/10) - 2nd straight single in a row. The beat is great and the hook gets your adrenaline pumpin. Ludacris, Chyna Whyte, & $hort Dogg (Too $hort) drop great verses on the Lil Jon beat. It's perfect.

5)Bia Bia Check-In (skit) - (n/a) - Boring.

6)Who U Wit - (6/10) - Dumb song with an actual dumb Lil Jon beat.

7)Let My N**ts Go (featuring Too $hort, Quint Black, & the Nation Riders) - (10/10) - Great song with a laid back beat. Too $hort, Quint Black, & the Nation Riders drop great verses to go along with the hook. Lil Jon has a more upbeat verse that makes the song that much better.

8)Move B***h (featuring Three 6 Mafia, Gangsta Boo, YoungBloodZ, Chyna Whyte, & Don Yute) - (10/10) - Everyone drops amazing verses to go along with the great part of Lil Jon's hook. You already know it's gonna be good with these guests.

9)Heads Off (My N****s)(featuring M.O.P.) - (12/10) - The Best track on the album. The intro is one of the best I've heard and gets you pumped up for the rest of the song. M.O.P. drops great verses on a great beat. I can listen to this song over & over & over...

10)Sexlude (skit) - (n/a) - Pretty funny.

11)Can't Stop Pimpin (featuring 8-Ball, MJG, & Oobie) - (10/10) - At first, I didn't like this song and I don't know why. Now, I love it. 8-Ball & MJG drop good verses and a great hook and singing by Oobie (surprise). Listen to it again if you don't like it at first.

12)Bounce Dat (featuring Chyna Whyte) - (8/10) - Nothin too special. The beat is good but it can get very boring.

13)Nothin's Free (featuring Oobie) - (8/10) - Okay song but it just seems worse when Lil Jon puts it on Kings of Crunk as well as Put Yo Hood Up.

14)Searcylude (skit) - (n/a) - Dumb. Pointless.

15)Where Dem Girlz At (featuring Sky) - (9/10) - This song has a good beat that's similar to the one of Uhh Ohh (track #2). The hook is good and I like it.

16)I Like Dem Girlz (featuring Jazze Pha) - (8/10) - The best part about this song is that you can follow along with Lil Jon's verses and hear what he likes about dem girlz. Jazze Pha doesn't add much to the track.

17)Nasty Girl (featuring Oobie) - (7/10) - Probably one of the worst song on the album. It gets really boring after the first listen.

18)DJ Hershey Live At The Blue Flamelude (skit) - (n/a) - OK skit.

19)Go Shawty Go (featuring Kilo Ali) - (9/10) - The beat is good and you can follow along with the hook. It's a solid track.

20)Outro Chynalude (featuring Chyna Whyte) - (8/10) - It's a skit turned into a normal song. Chyna Whyte drops some of her best rhymes but it's only 2:23 long.

21)Bia Bia 2 (featuring Too $hort & Chyna Whyte) - (10/10) - It's got the same beat as the first one. In fact, it's pretty much the same song. The only difference is Ludacris isn't featured and doesn't have a verse, there isn't an intro like the first one did, & Too $hort, Lil Jon, & Chyna Whyte have different verses. It's still a great track.

Top 10 (not in order):

1)Heads Off (My N****s)
2)Bia Bia
3)Move B***h
4)Let My N**s Go
5)Bia Bia 2
6)Put Yo Hood Up
7)Can't Stop Pimpin
8)Uhh Ohh
9)Where Dem Girlz At
10)I Like Dem Girlz

2 out of 5 stars Not meant to be taken serious.......2005-10-02

This album is like a double edge sword. You really can't take anything lil john does serious. This album is just meant for one dimesional people who's life is to party. The beats is what makes people cop it. So if your lookin at it from that point of view, then this a great album. But if your like me and your lookin for true mc's who can actually spit bars then you gon' hate everything this guy puts out. I gotta give props to the south cause they know how to party, but the south is the reason why people who don't listen to hip hop say it's stupid and sounds the same. The mainstream stained hip hop's reputation forever.

5 out of 5 stars How Deep Is Your Hood is another bangin' klassick!.......2007-06-14

First off, for everyone that says they aren't feeling this cd, you've gotta understand that the point was to do something a little different. Like on the cover of the Best Of The Damu's 2 cd set, it says the final chapter, going to the next level,so that's why this is a little different.

Personally,I love it. I think it's another Bangin' On Wax hit! Young Dogs With No Muzzle, A Day In A Life(It has the Rip A Crab In Half beat),How Deep Is Your Hood,Darby Park, these and almost all the other tracks are some more Damu klassicks! The music and beats are still as funky as ever, which is a good thing, and these tracks feature redruM 781,B-Brazy,Green Eyes,Lil' Hawk and some new Damu's that all sound tight!

If you are a fan of the Bangin' On Wax albums and the first Damu Ridas cd,then by all means get this cd today! Mine was brand new and it came with the Bloods and Crips Sticker still on it!

3 out of 5 stars Not that great. .......2006-02-22

The story on this is great and some of the songs are kinda catchy, but this album just falls flat to me. I've never been a fan of Mike P. and his production just brings this whole thing down. Like I said, some of the songs are kinda catchy, but other than the first song, none of them are actually good. Shaggy, Twiztid and Blaze make some good guest appearance's as spin offs of the classic Wizard of Oz characters. Shaggy's new solo is much better, so I suggest picking that up as oppossed to this.

4 out of 5 stars Good album but they are not the new NWA!.......2006-08-11

I didnt want to give this album a chance because the first single dem boyz is kind of weak. But I gave it a shot and was a little bit surprised. Standout tracks: Felonies, No talkin, Dont put your hands on me, gangstas etc. Filler: Still slizzard, b----es and bizness, if you a thug and happy jamz. Happy jamz might have been okay if it wasnt for the dull beat and sloppy singing by jazze pha. The group's fatal flaw is the dead weight Jody Breeze. Felonies could've easily been a classic if it wasnt for Jody Breeze's non-rhyming verse. If that werent eneough he ruined P---y MFs with a verse that had nothing to do with the title. Example: I got a dame from France so freaky that she sleeps in a three point stance. Now tell me what does that have to do with p---y mfs? Nothing. Even Trick Daddy's verse was better than that. The only members that hold up this album is Big Gee, Big Duke and Young Jeezy (surprisingly!). Jody Breeze brought this album down bad! All in all this album is good but they can never touch NWA especially when one of their members (guess who? LOL) needs to step his rap game up immediately!

3 out of 5 stars a pretty good debut..........2006-07-28

this cd is defintitely not one of the best i own but it is a good debut for the group n for young jeezy. it's easy to see that he is one of the best rappers in the group from the start but for a group they do well. most of the songs have the young jeezy feel to them and remind me a lot of his cd. but some are a lil bit wack. overall, it was an excellent debut for jeezy and if u like listening to his music u will enjoy this preview of the beginning of his rap career.

1 out of 5 stars this is supposed to b gangsta?.......2006-05-07

how all yall fools gonna come up in here calling this trash gangsta.. Kali is where the real ridas live and die notthe dirty.. DIRTY... south or the LEAST coast.. everyone since the mid 90's has bitten the west coast and this is no exception.. tha frontlinerz have a track called ''gangsta in me'' and they put it right on these so-called gangsta's callin themselves trap ni66az.. this is a joke.. like everything else and whoever said this isnt commercial.. give it up.. this record is sitting on wal-marts shelves!!! i heard this and had one serious laugh.. boyz n da hood... another example of how you suckers bite the west...

3 out of 5 stars It's The Truth .......2006-04-06

I have to agree with other reviewers because when you first hear this album the beats hook you in but after a while you start to realize the truth. You realize that a man who once brought a hip hop legend to this world of music is now bringing an army of mixed players. He's got talent in Ness and Babs and I think Jody Breeze and Duke have tons of potential but Jeezy and that other guy are way below average, see I don't even remember the other guys name cause he didn't stand out. Then he's got the no talented stars that get released and you always hear their songs and videos but where's Ness at. There's no way they can call themselves NWA and get away with it because this album is nowhere near the worth of any of NWA's albums.

Duke and Jody go hard on this debut album and if anybody is wasting their time with this group it's them. Now Diddy is trying to get even more money by stretching this half way group by adding Wayne and this proves that he really is just trying to cash in on the south. The album rest on the production, which are street bangers, but to me they get old fast and Jody and Duke's back won't be able to hold this group up for long. Even with the new addition they'll only get a bigger spot on a mainstream list and a lower spot in hip hop history but who cares about talent and respect anymore. It always has and always will be about the money and Diddy is making that clear with the release of the weak Biggie Duets.

1 out of 5 stars Why do you support these Fool's.......2006-03-21

sorry if my 1 star f*** up the scale.

5 out of 5 stars another hot album from them dirty boyz.......2006-02-05

they came hard with this one but they come hard wit all there albums i consider da dirty boyz 1 of da best southern rap grounds
and i wanna say i got all there albums they all hot this is worth the money so go cop this

    5 out of 5 stars Can't get no better.......2005-09-28

This CD is the best one I have gotten from dirty. I have all of their cds and they seem to get better as they go along... Bun B is my all time favorite and the fact that they do a song with him speaks very highly of their skills. I would buy this cd for all of my friends if I had the money to.

    5 out of 5 stars Great CD.......2005-08-21

This is the best album Dirty has put out. Produced almost exclusively by their in-house producer, Maximillion, this CD can be listened to from top to bottom without skipping a track. They come hard in songs like the bassy "Git Cha Handz Off Me" and come fresh in "Rollie Pollie." "Let's Ride" is a serious banger, as is "Stop Lyin'." Actually, every song sounds really good with a sub. They show more song versatility, and address more topics than the usual for them.. which shows they are growing as artists I guess. Anyway, get this new Dirty.. it's allowing me to hold off on the new Banner album for a while because i don't want to take Hood Stories out of my CD player.
